Buffer system for suppressed supers and subs

8.5in barrel, pistol length gas system. Just wanted to know what buffer system would work, friend said JP captured H2 system would be fine. Don’t have an adjustable gas block but am willing to get one if required

Tucked suppressor clearance question/advice

Waiting on approval for a CAT MOB for an ar9, the overall diameter of the suppressor is 1.64in. I want the aesthetic of a tucked can, but the largest diameter handguard I can find is 1.75in.

Is this enough? I don’t plan on using the mlok rails that the suppressor is on, but just want an idea if it’s worth buying everything (handguard, direct thread mount, taking asr muzzle device off) or if it would logistically not work.

Plan on doing hub to direct thread so the ar9 would be the only host for this. Not really worried about the heat because i plan to shoot subs and rarely mag dump. Appreciate any advice or recommendations

AR9 tucked suppressor question

Planning to tuck a can on a 7.5in AR9 for the aesthetic. I’ve heard how bad of an idea it is on 556 because of the heat but would subs on a direct blowback 9 be manageable or is it still stupid?

556 can suggestions

Looking for 556 suppressor suggestions. I have a do all (hybrid 46), waiting on approval for a cat mob for 9mm/300blk subs, just wanted something dedicated to 556. I’m not sure if anything can really clear the 130db threshold because of the round itself, but the quieter the better as far as what I’m looking for. Tisha and Rhodie 6 both got a lot of hype right now on YouTube, not sure if it’s just brand shills or legit, if anyone has experience with those or any other good quiet cans I’d love to hear it

308 or 6.5 CM and 5.56 or 6mm ARC

I have 2 lowers to complete (AR10 and AR15) and these are my options or at least what I’m strongly considering. I don’t hunt, I don’t have access (currently) to any ranges that offer more than 150 yards of distance, and I don’t currently have any scopes/optics for any of these builds so it’s pretty much a blank slate. Open to suggestions for other calibers outside of what’s mentioned

Not sure if this has been answered yet or is known by anyone in the sub but are there any places in Connecticut that do titanium nitride or physical vapor deposition on guns? I have a Baby Eagle 3 I wanted to get all gold or that chameleon/spectrum color if possible
