Can someone please info dumb as much lore as possible onto me? I love everything about tally hall and Hawaii: part II but I am ass at keeping a good picture with these things

My door has to be forced to open and closed and I need a fix cause it’s loud AF. My inexperienced guess is that it’s expanding from moisture because we open our windows at night or it’s the handle but I installed it a couple months ago and it’s been fine. Please help🙏 pic incase it helps
