Can buyers intentionally sabatoge loan to get out of contract with mortgage contingency?

If buyers get cold feet, can they try to get out of contract with a mortgage contingency by sabotaging their loan? For example, give inaccurate income or financial records to mortgage company to reduce their loan amount. Is there a way for seller agent to prove that to keep EDM?

Pre approved buyer but need seller concession VS. pre-qualified buyer, no seller concessions

Curious what people think.

Selling a home and seller received 2 offers. Home is listed for $625k:

  1. 645k with $20k seller concessions. Pre-approved for $650k, but FDA loan with 5% down and buyer-provided funds look like they will not be able to afford home if appraisal comes back at $625k as listed.

  1. $625k with no seller concessions, but only pre-qualified and only for $625k according to income. Standard loan with 20% down.

Which would you consider the safer option?

Can schools make the last day for kinder earlier than the rest of the school even if it's not reported to the state?

My son's school turned the 2nd to last day of school for kindergarteners into a "graduation" ceremony with dismissal at 10am, and said that will be the last day of school for them, canceling the last day on the calendar.

Aside from the last minute announcement being annoying, is this even allowed? Can they change the calendar for one grade for no reason when it's already been approved by the state without a revision? My other children attended different schools and the message has always been they won't be penalized for not attending the last few days, not that school is completely over! I work in a middle school and our 8th graders are also told they don't have to come after graduation, but never told that they CANT come.
