Hey everyone, I’m back again! I’m trying to pick out a casual outfit for my Ruby OC—something I need for an interaction piece. I don’t know which one suits her vibe best. Could you all help me decide?

I’ve always pictured Ruby at around 1.3–1.4 m. My Ruby OC, Star Ruby, is 1.55 m, so she’s a bit taller than canon Ruby. Since SU heights are inconsistent and Gems can vary, I think that’s reasonable. That said, I feel 1.55 m is actually the best height for Star Ruby.

I just realized the three outfits I gave my Ruby OC are all different colors. Should I change the color scheme?

are basically all the same Ruby; two are in the official Steven Universe art style, and one is in my personal art style.

I ultimately chose the design I like

I realized that the setting I wrote earlier was a perfectly cut starlight ruby. For my OC's outfit when she was first created, the sleeves are normal. As for the second one, it's the one you originally chose.

Hey, quick question—I don’t know if this works for my Ruby OC, especially his makeup and headpiece. Basically, the Sapphire he protects with his leader used him as a practice dummy for makeup. Everyone else wiped theirs off, but he kept it.

Also, my hand control isn’t great sometimes, so I tend to mess up hands when drawing.
