Solution Architect interested in doing nothing and getting PAID. RSM/AE the answer?

Been in a technical sales roles ranging from SE to SA for several years at this point and I feel like every rep I’ve ever encountered is a giant bum and gets paid huge. Been debating just moving into their role, working an hour or two a week and telling my SE to do my job for me since that appears to be the way. Thoughts?

What is considered enough to chill?

35M, 500k/yr income (250 base, 250 equity). Wife makes about 180. Have about 350 in retirement, 2.8 in the market and 700k on the mortgage. Pretty burned out on the work front, or at least getting there. Wondering how much is really needed to not care about income? What’s the formula?
