USCIS approving/working on cases today?
Hi,
I am waiting for my AP. How’s USCIS still pushing approval cases on the 4th of July?
Hi,
I am waiting for my AP. How’s USCIS still pushing approval cases on the 4th of July?
Hi,
myUSCIS keeps changing the order of my applications. My AoS has been removed from the list of concurrent filings and listed separately. Only EAD + AP are now listed as concurrent filing. Their order keeps changing frequently. All of them are currently being adjudicated at NBC.
Why does this happen?
Any recent approvals from NBC? Employment-based specifically.
I’d like to know just to get an idea what hope I have for making it in time for my sister’s wedding.
Filing date-
Biometrics date-
Dependents-
Approvals (if any) for EAD, AP and AoS-
Category- EB or family AoS
Thank you!
See you all greened soon.
Hi,
I-485, I-765 and AP filed on 4/30.
Need AP to travel soon.
I am wondering what this means. The agent refused to confirm if my case has been transferred to a field office or if there are any updates. My cases are still “case is still being processed.”
Traveling to India in July for sister’s wedding – AP pending, re-entry concerns. Please help!
Hi everyone,
We’re in a bit of a stressful situation and would really appreciate guidance from those who’ve been through something similar.
Our situation:
• Husband filed I-485 based on EB-1A (approved I-140). He’s currently on H-1B.
• I am his derivative applicant, filed I-485 concurrently. I’m on H-4.
• Both of us have also filed I-131 (Advance Parole) and I-765 (EAD) as part of the package.
• AP is still pending for both of us.
The trip:
My sister’s wedding is in the first week of July and missing it is not an option for me. We’re hoping AP gets approved before then, but I’m anxious about what happens if timelines don’t work out.
My questions:
1. If AP is NOT approved before July, is there any way I can travel? (I have no valid H-4 stamp currently.)
2. If my I-485 gets approved while I am abroad, can I re-enter the US? I’ve read conflicting things — some say you’d need to go to a consulate, others say an approved I-485 means you’re a green card holder and can return?
3. If my husband’s I-485 gets approved while I’m in India (making him a green card holder), does that affect my derivative status or my ability to re-enter on H-4?
4. For those who’ve traveled on AP to India — any tips on the re-entry process? Did you face issues at the port of entry?
My case is with NBC. I’m wondering if anyone else has received an update for their biometrics appointment if they filed in last week of April. This will give me some idea about what to expect.
