Old Gus' Cypher Reference Document (OG-CRD) is a hypertext version of the Cypher Reference Document (revised July 29, 2026), published under the Cypher Open License.

This document has been edited and condensed. You can use this edition to quickly look up rules, share them with others, or copy text into a character sheet that works for you. The OG-CRD contains most of the text of the Cypher Character Rulebook, but it is not a replacement for the real thing, which contains additional information, examples of play, and advice for playing Cypher—not to mention gorgeous artwork and the seductive odor of cardboard and book glue.

You may also find some good use for material from Old Gus' Cypher System Reference Document, which covers the prior edition of the game published from 2015–2025: https://callmepartario.github.io/og-csrd/

This Quick-Reference contains information most useful for players, with room to take a few notes specific to the campaign frame.

If you missed my prior post, a companion GM Screen contains information most useful for the GM. I made some small updates to the GM Screen that correct a couple of typos, and make a little better use of the available space.
