Career change at 27 into the IT industry

Hi all,

I’m 27 in the UK and I want to change my career completely if possible.

I’m an electrician and have been for 10 years however I want to become a remote systems IT engineer or cloud support engineer eventually.

I’ve been doing some research and it said the best thing to do is to study for a year or 2 & gain some AWS certificates & upload some projects to github.

Anyone who’s transitioned into this industry or works in this industry is this actually achievable or Is it unlikely?

I don’t mind spending money towards it if I do need to do some courses etc.

Vivera or conventional wire retainer?

Hi all,

I’m going to be buying a retainer for post brace treatment.

I will only be wearing these at night as advised when no one will see them.

The viveras are £400 for 3
Conventional £150 for 1

Is there any benefit to buying the viveras or is it purely aesthetics? And what is the benefit of having 3 sets?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for the best business bank account which offers good interest rates in the uk?

I’ve been with starling for 2 years and they’re great and free however they offer no interest on any accounts.

Now my business is growing I’m thinking of mocking banks. I don’t mind paying a monthly fee for a new bank if they offer some form of interest.
