What is everyone's approach to art?

I am working on designing a board game, and while it still needs to go through a ton of revisions and playtests, a question on my mind has been how people handle art with board game design projects.

I am not a good artist. My cards are currently plain text with different background colors. While it works fine for gameplay and testing (especially while in a stage where these cards will likely be revised pretty frequently), I know that art is something I am going to need to consider in the future. I just don't know where I would even begin with finding an artist willing to work on a board game, what the process would be for working with them, or even what a fair price is for when I reach the point where that is needed.

For those of you who have completed board game design projects before, how did you handle art?

Nearly everyone is in a Loyalist Faction supporting my liege-- what should I do?

I'm playing my first real run of CK3AGOT and am a vassal in The Reach. The Crown Authority is extremely high and I've been doing everything I can to put a Liberty Faction together, but nearly every vassal in The Reach is part of a Loyalist Faction. This isn't just unique to this character, this has been for the last 2-3 Lord Paramounts.

Is there anything I can do to break apart this Loyalist Faction or try to get more people into the Liberty Faction? I've been fabricating hooks, making friendships, and trying to kidnap people to get the hooks needed to force them to join, but it is a slow process, and weak hooks can't be used for forcing others to join the faction.

Is there anything I can do as a player, or do I just have to wait around for the Lord Paramount to to something unpopular? Are the Tyrells simply that likeable? I would try to build up some allies and press my demands regardless, but even if I did, I'd be in a situation where I would not only be fighting the 45k troops of my Lord Paramount, but all the troops of the Loyalist Faction as well.

Why is Calamity a rare card?

I always thought [[Calamity]] didn't seem very good, so I have never taken it. I took it for the first time today and it plays exactly how I thought it would-- filling your deck with trash and making it more difficult to block. Am I missing something? I simply don't understand why this is a rare, and a 3 cost rare at that.

My parents recently had a large tree cut down in their back yard due to concerns of it falling on the house. I was just curious if anyone knew how old it might have been based on these pictures of the tree itself and the stump after.
