Disappointed in one-pan chicken biryani
Alas, we followed the instructions exactly and ended up with half-cooked rice burned to the bottom of the pan. At least the house smells amazing! 🤷🏻♀️
Anyone actually have success with this one?

First and foremost, we have been really happy with Hello Fresh. We've been using it for about 5 years and it's taught us so many things about cooking (I was seriously kitchen-averse before starting), and we must have a really good distribution center here in Colorado USA because we never have problems with freshness.
But something weird has happened at least twice now.
Sometime over a year ago, I was reviewing my upcoming box when I saw I had "chosen" a meal in the mix that I never would have ordered. I knew I'd picked 4 meals for the week, and three made sense, but one was an absolute mistake. Problem was, I couldn't remember what I HAD chosen, so support was useless (yeah, I tried to explain this problem to them, it didn't go great). I feel like one of my chosen meals was switched after finalization but I couldn't prove it.
Weirdly enough, that box got mysteriously "lost" or "damaged" or something and I was refunded and never received it. No harm no foul I guess.
For a few months after that I would screenshot every week's order when I chose it, just in case this happened again. Over a year went by and it didn't happen again, so I got out of the habit of screenshotting my order.
And then... this week! It happened again!! I have no memory of choosing honey-garlic chicken stir-fry, yet there it is in my box. My boyfriend doesn't remember choosing it either. It doesn't really appeal to me, but I'll eat it, so I'm just going to let it happen without attempting to complain this time. No big deal in the end, but it's curious.
So, long story to ask a short question: Has this happened to anyone else?
I just received an order from Shop Taby (shoptaby.com) today and I'm pretty pleased!
Once again, as happened with Proud Poppy a few months ago, the Facebook ads got me. I just feed the algorithm with clicks on the daily, what can I say. They know I'm a sucker for bright colors!
The rainbow two-piece outfit, the Get Noticed skirt set, particularly caught my eye. It was a bit pricey at $127, but I appreciate that Shop Taby is minority-owned, woman-led and size-inclusive (goes up to 5X, and sizing is very generous, I'll talk more about that later). I support causes I care about with my wallet, and I luckily have the privilege to do so (and I don't take it for granted!), so I placed an order.
While I was there I also purchased the Always In Bloom orange dress for $89, as well as the Goodness Gracious denim jacket on sale for $49 (no pics of the jacket but it was just as advertised).
I found the sizing to be a little wonky, so definitely pay attention to measurements on individual pieces when ordering.
I am typically an 18/20 and I usually order clothes based on my largest measurement, which is a 50-inch bust.
I got a 2X in the denim jacket and it fits a little loose, but comfortably. In the Get Noticed skirt set, what I thought would be my size (2X/3X) was sold out so I opted for XL/1XL—and I'm very glad I did, because it fits great (unfortunately it looks like that size is also now sold out, hopefully they restock soon!). For the Always In Bloom dress, it runs VERY large, as I got a M/L and it is very roomy.
Overall, would order again!
