The Everly Rooftop Pool Rule

I very recently moved into The Everly and found out that the building is only allowing residents to access the rooftop pool (they literally check on a piece of paper if you live there at the pool entrance).

This came as a huge disappointment to me as I really would’ve liked to bring guests. I’d get it if there was a guest limit like 1 person only, but this rule was never announced to anyone (or at least to me) until they sent out an email earlier this month when the pool was officially open - not during tours or when I signed my lease or when I asked questions about the rooftop/pool.

I feel like this was a bait and switch kinda move because one of the reasons why I really liked the building and moved here was so that I could bring my friend(s) and chill at the pool this summer. I’m not gonna swim by myself, that’s kinda boring. And for a $150 amenity fee every month, I feel like we should freely be able to use the amenities that we pay for.

Anyone else feel the same? Could we do anything to petition management about it?

Edit: if anyone else lives at The Everly and is frustrated with this policy too, please reach out to me! I’m planning on starting a petition and sending it to management

Edit #2: I spoke with the front desk staff and they agree too that this sudden rule is unfair to the residents

I created an all-in-one app called Reptide (https://reptide.app) that tracks your nutrition, body progress, workouts, lab work, peptides, etc. and am currently working on building an import functionality so you can upload your data from various apps like Lose It.

I believe Lose It exports your data as a CSV file, but I was wondering if anyone knew what the column headers are, or if there's any way to get my hands on an example CSV? I don't have a Lose It account so I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Thanks in advance!
