Got a new second hand iPad Air 5th generation specifically because it was compatible with my 2nd generation apple pencil but it isn't coming up as an option on bluetooth. I've tried hard restarting the ipad, turning bluetooth and wifi on and off and leaving the pencil to charge for a good while. It also still works with my old iPad..

Is there anything else I can try before I accept defeat?
