i just noticed that today is my cake day on reddit

i never used reddit before, and joined it for this subreddit as a means to trade whatever crates for cars i didnt have in rocket league
~
that turned into trading other things, which in turn, made me such a fashionista in rocket league designing, that i have 3 accounts for extra design space (all maxxed in preset slots)

due to my cake day's connection to this sub + trading, i figured i'd mark the occasion 🙂

so i have ublock origin lite (i think its primary but also ABP, ghostery and adblock as browser extensions

these block ads on my primary FAST services for on demand (pluto, tubi, roku channel, prime and youtube)

but it doesnt block fandango's ads and i was wondering if anyone can give me some direction to do so please

so i am happy we have winter breakaway mode. usually its 1x a yr in december. but i've noticed more chasers that last time, making it less fun. here are some tips:

• this mode is pure team work. when ppl chase, means not ready for a center. i like ceiling centers from behind and side of net
• pick and choose when to make a breakaway towards net + be ready on defense when opponent does it
• on offense, its best for 1 person working behind the net and the others ready for centers. all ready to rotate back for defense
• on defense, keep 1 person in goal. and never when working behind your net, 1 person taking the puck 1 way and a teammate interrupting from opposite way. can lead to a center for the opponents. be ready for all to rotate forward offensively. on a related note, you do want to get an opposite hit on back wall from opponents defense working puck on back wall in the offensive zone as that can center
• speaking of centering for wrong team, dont do it in your defensive zone. can lead to opponents getting a goal
• back to chasing, if you interrupt your teammates play, means you are not ready for their center + leaving defensive opening. again, this mode requires more teamwork and chasing hurts that
• back passes can lead to bad things defensively if teammate not there and its harder to recover due to arena so big

I was prepared to skip all of the FS1 games, but to my surprise, a simple channelling up/down helped me find Telemundo

Telemundo is carrying all the games, and for me, I'll only use it when its a FS1 game bc antenna also gets me FOX already

so i have never gotten a premium service thru roku before. will...:

• i have access to the entirety of the services catalog thru roku?
• be able to login directly to the premium service?
• a main reason for getting MGM during this period is for the the spiderman noir show coming soon. that will be accessible to me?

anything else i'd need to know on using roku for a premium service would be appreciative. for $1 a month to get from and spiderman noir is too tempting for me

i am on xbox and have game pass ultimate which gives me fortnite crew/rocket pass

the crew is barely used (mainly used recently for the havoc car) while it accumulates v bucks.

i have darth vader fennec bundle on an alt (bought with saved credits from trading times) and was considering gifting the red light saber boost for said alt with my main (since not doing much with v bucks, tho i am saving them for diesel and beskar bundles)

is that a problem? would i need the alt to login to fortnite, or will it just show on rocket league. or is doing this sort of thing not good in general? Also if its fine, will the alt need to do a 2fa check like the FAQ says for the gifter?
