Struggling on where to start

Hi all!

I have a 1/2 acre plot of mossy and thickly packed lawn. I want to start a veg garden (leading to meat rabbits, chickens, etc) I was hoping to get the ground prepped and ready for spring, or at least having a plan of action.

I've read through a lot of books and there's conflicting information. Double dig, don't double dig. Use fallen leaves as organic matter, only use aged leaf mulch after 2 years. Use a rototillar, don't your garden will compact and you'll never grow anything ever again (I joke but they do get very dramatic)

We don't have a large budget so can't just buy in tonnes of compost and mulch, but now that we have the space I want to do what i can to supplement our food budget as much as I can as quick as I can.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Medical Negligence claim?

Hi all,

A doctor performed a procedure without telling me - she did a membrane sweep to induce labour after telling me she was only performing an examination. I made a complaint to the hospital which was upheld.

The sweep led to further birth interventions and to an emergency cesarean. This means any future births and pregnancies will have increased risks (for uterine rupture and other complications). I am also still having issues with sex and intimacy due to the violation.

I am really struggling because I feel as though no one has been held accountable (the doctor was told not to do it again but otherwise that's the extent of it). Has anyone any experience with pursuing a legal route for medical negligence?

Thank you so much in advance!

Post surgery incision- is it healing?

27F here, I had a keyhole gallbladder removal surgery. The bottom incision to the right of my bellybutton always looked like a stitch broke, but it scabbed over until 2 weeks post op. (Image 1)

I have been using wound dressings to try stop the weeping and it as gotten better but hasn't stopped - i have been struggling with the rash the dressings have caused.

Is this healing (image 2) or will I call my doctor in the morning?

Thank you in advance 💖
