Does it get better?

I grew up in a highly pro anti gay religion… despite their teachings being technically “gay is a lifestyle/don’t sleep with members of the same sex” the aftermath was anything not straight is bad…. The one queer example I know is probably a secret… and that’s “special”

Truly asking those in there 30’s plus… does it get better? Do you wake up in your 30’s or older and am happy with the choices you made? Do you have feeling outside of proselytizing that gives you a purpose in life outside or marriage or “unit-hood”? Do you feel good being alone?

I’m just…. I’m scared and alone. How are you?

Making a 2d avatar that “animates” when you speak.

I’m wanting to make a 2d “vtuber like model” that essentially turns on when you speak. Best way I can explain it is that the audio pics up mic and it turns on a simple animation loop that looks like the avatar is talking, and when no sound is detected there’s a static image that mimics the appears of silence. I just don’t know what programs to use to implement this as I can do the 2d drawings myself.

A good example of this would be what streamer/YouTuber lilypichu does. A lot of her gaming streams show this with like multiple people lighting up as their mics are on, I just need it for my mic.

This might not be exactly the right sub for this, and if so please direct me to the right sub! Please and thank you!

Can’t reach an item, anyone know if it’s possible to get?

Okay so I can’t get this urn. As you can see I stacked boxes and it still says “X can’t reach this”. I can’t open it, can’t drag it away… an arrow of roaring thunder blows it up. Mage hand can’t get it.

This is in the room where Balthazar is found in the gauntlet of Shar. Any ideas?

Early advice for successful application to an Ivy League

In early in my college career. An adult student who is attending community college now, wanting to maximize my opportunities to get into an Ivy League School, specifically Cornell or Columbia.

As stated, I am an adult student. I have been in a manufacturing design role for around a decade. I am currently studying chemical engineering, however I would like to transition to a chemistry degree for everything past an associates. I am planning on pursuing a PhD, and am first generation college student.

What steps or buffs to my degree should I be focusing on? Aside from the obvious high gpa…

Thanks.
