EV Owners: Who did your EVSE install and what did that cost?

I'm looking at taking the leap into getting an electric car, which I would like to charge at home. I don't current have 220v service in my garage and I don't think a 15A outlet is going to cut it for long.

If you've had an EVSE and/or 220v service installed who did you use and what did that cost you? Any gotchas I should know about?

Edit: because I forgot it's relevant the house has 200A service. and I think this would also involve running new wire to my (detached) garage because the current wiring is only 15A/120v.

Storm Window Rebuilding?

I am the proud owner of a 100 year old home that has the old-school, vintage storm windows that look like ass after unknowable years of neglect. Are there any places around the twin cities that rebuild these things? Ideally I'd like them repaired and re-glazed with more modern glass.

What is the difference in horsepower between your least and most powerful cars?

I was thinking the other day about how I have only owned one truly "slow" car: an 88 Cavalier with (when new) 90hp. Everything else I have owned was decently quick. Though the most powerful car I have owned was my Firebird with 350whp.

Water pipe for underground?

Our cabin has a well that we share with the neighbor. The line that runs from the well head to our cabin is currently a black, 1" line of some unknown plastic and is in need to replacement.

Is there a specific type of plastic that is suitable for burial/outdoor exposure.

Honey Birdette exchange experience?

I'm curious what other people's experience is with doing returns and exchanges with HB.

I ordered some stuff at their recent sale but the sizes were too big so I wanted to exchange. The return was delivered a week ago but it's been radio silence form HB and their CS team hasn't responded to my email.

GMC 4500 "Texas Edition"

I have no idea if this is a real edition or just some 4500 chassis that someone slapped a truck bed on.

[Cabinets] How much shimming is too much shimming?

I'm in the process of installing new (Ikea) cabinets in my kitchen. I've run into a snag: the wall I am putting them on is very crooked. There is nearly a 2" difference between one side and the other due it being half plaster and half drywall.

The cabinet instructions say you should shim them so they sit flush. But is 2" going to be too much to shim?

Edit: seems the consensus is exactly what I didn't want to hear in that the wall needs to be redone.😔 Thanks for your help everyone.

I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue. Since the last Pixel update (Android 16) I've been having issues with the audio randomly going on when connected by BT. This mostly affects my Jabra Evolve2 headphones, but I've had it happen with the Shure SE215s and my car as well.

The connection doesn't drop, the audio just stops working and only comes back if I pause for 10-20 seconds, then press play again.
