Safe to rely only on activity key?

I keep the larger key with buttons at home in a safe drawer and only is the activity key. Lately, I've had a few times where my car doesn't recognize the key for a minute or two while I'm frustratingly pulling on the door handle . Eventually it wakes up , but I'm wondering if the problem could get worse . I'm assuming the car will alert me when the battery in the key starts to get low?? My TCAM has been having a bit of trouble lately too, does that module have anything to keys?

How noticeable will a nicer grinder be?

I have the Geimori T38 Plus. It's a mini tower-style grinder that I am sure has the same internals as many other Chinese-made mini tower-style grinders with metal bodies and stepless adjustment. It has 38mm conical burrs, low retention and I don't seem to get clumps, certainly not ones that WDT doesn't take care of. I can easily get my shot timing correct with non-pressurized baskets. It has stepless adjustment, low retention and while it may be a little slow, it doesn't really bother me or slow my overall work flow.

While I have found some light roasts I enjoy, I think I generally like med-light the most so far in my coffee journey, and regardless of roast I really enjoy thick body and crema. I don't tend to like a lot of acid/citrus from my coffee and many light roasts give me that. I have tried some light roasts with chocolate or caramel flavor descriptors I tend to like more. I just tried one from Corvus that had "chocolate covered barriers" as a descriptor and it totally clicked for me and I'm stoked!

I usually add some milk to my espresso but I tend to like a 1:1 ratio or less of milk.

Purely based on taste/shot quality, how big of a difference would something like a Lagom Casa, Niche Zero, Starseeker E55 or even Opus Gen Two make?

I'm so sick of the bs propaganda! In a real disaster or apocalypse situation EVs are better. Gasoline goes bad after not all that long. Oil supplies can get cut off. Oil refineries can get destroyed and need people to operate them. Petrol cars need more maintenance too.

All I need is a simple solar setup to charge my EV. It might take a long time depending on the size of the solar setup but I'm less likely to be completely SOL.

I'm not saying it's a ticket to survival. In a super intense disaster zombie kind of situation we'd all be F'ed. But the argument against EVs for this reason makes no sense!
