60¢ Value Feels Right 🪙
While selling a batch of books, I saw this on the shelf and realized ‘I won’t be needing this anymore’ and decided to see what its trade-in value was.

I rarely go for a chocolate base in a pint. But it was on sale, I was really curious and had a lingering eye on this brand, and I grabbed two. First time trying Sammontana and seeing it in stores. The other flavor I grabbed was the almond brittle (not my favorite - 4.5/10). Tonight it was time to crack open the second tub - CIOCCOLATO - it stopped my spoon in my tracks.
I don’t know what I was expecting. But it was unexpectedly good. It is the fluffiest and lightest chocolate I’ve tasted, without sacrificing the richness of chocolate. And there’s little chocolate flakes - not chips. Not chunks, that when too frozen risk knocking out a tooth crown. Instead it has the most perfectly crisp and delicate little bits of texture with these chocolate shavings.
Rating: 10/10 Cioccolatoh my goodness
Raising my spoon to Sammontana! Buon appetito!
Would be the ultimate celebrity sighting while in town!
Enjoy Chicago, Conan! We love you 🧡🩵

Hello! My cat sitting work on the side has grown significantly over the last few years and I’d like to become insured.
🐈⬛ Any current cat sitters in the USA that have recommendations? Or advice on how you became an insured cat sitter?
🐾 Also did an LLC need to be created before you could be insured?
🐈 Does gaining licensure (where applicable) factor into becoming insured as a cat sitter?
🐟 Thank you for your advice and perspectives! 😸
General question across all professional sports. Are there any teams with a dinosaur mascot besides the Toronto Raptors?
If not, is there a reason why? Or have Dino mascots also gone extinct in professional sports?
Had another great donor experience with the Red Cross. Their blood drive was at the zoo, so naturally I had to pay my respects to the Vampire Bats on exhibit 🦇 afterwards🩸❤️ 🫡
Also they gave us a free t shirt with a dinosaur on it which was very sweet - BUT NOT PUTTING A VAMPIRE BAT ON THE T SHIRT INSTEAD IS A REAL MISSED OPPORTUNITY 😤
See ya again in August 😎

Edit for context: 15 years experience in the environmental conservation field. No graduate degree, have worked for major international nonprofits doing on the ground conservation restoration, education, research, or outreach. Want to move up to something at more of a manager or specialist role. Because I have the years of experience, presentations, panel features, even donor engagement and solicitation for over $15k in major gifts for the program I managed. Undergrad degree is in Environmental Analysis and Policy. Career has definitely been more research and field focused than policy.
