Griffin Ambi Lower Compatability with LWRC IC-DI Upper

Hi all,

I just purchased a used LWRC IC-DI upper used and was curious if it would work with the Griffin Mk2 Ambi lower. I have read here on Reddit that one person had issues with the left side's bolt hold/release button interfering with the upper, but I wasn't sure if that was an off-spec one-off issue or just a broad one across the board.

Also if it is an across the board issue, would the ADM Mil-Spec Ambi-Bolt Catch be the best fix?

Generally, I'm curious if anyone here has this upper/lower combo. Thanks!

So over a month ago I submitted an SBR form 1 from a trust. I noticed today when looking at my form that somehow, I have three copies of my 5320.23 attached to the submission in the electronic documentation section even though I only put down one in the responsible persons section. I assume when I removed my error doc (not really an error, just included APT. in front of my apartment) that somehow it still saved in electronic documents. I didn't initially even see it there when submitting, but now it says I have three 5320.23 in my electronic documents section. Will this result in denial or is it a nonissue? Has this happened to anyone else before? I have another Form 1 I submitted that didn't have this issue, though. VA resident so hoping it's approved because idk what the status of making an SBR will be after July 1.

Hi all,

Looks like I may be getting an FM9 here in VA before i can't. I am wondering, though, has anyone gotten the folder to work with an FRT/Super Safety? I was looking at Blowback9 but couldn't find a clear answer. I sort of wanted to do a FRT build if possible, but having that folding stock is also a nice feature. Any tips or experience you all can share?

Hi All,

As you saw from the title, I am trying to figure out what to get. I am down to my last bit of budgeted funds before the ban hammer strikes July 1, and I am not sure what to get. I really would like some sort of fun 9mm PCC, but I am stuck. I am looking at getting either: a dedicated AR-9 lower of some sort (open to recs), a conversion block for one of my many standard AR15 lowers, or just buying the Extar EP9. One factor influencing my decision is that if the grandfather statute is in place and the courts don't do anything to help protect the 2A, then I'll be stuck with whatever I get for a while.

Pros of Each
- AR9 Dedicated Lower - Probably best long term, can make super safe someday(?), easy to store until I get the other parts
- Conversion Kit - Don't need to buy a lower, can have a PCC sort of whenever I want with some parts changes, easy to store
- EP9 - Full gun ready to go, popular, reliable, easy maintenance

Cons of Each
- AR9 Dedicated Lower - Just stuck with a lower and unsure about shipping to VA by companies or possible restrictions. Also have NO IDEA which lower is best to get
- Conversion kit - not really a new gun per se
- EP9 - $500 for a gun that may or may not have support in 10 years that uses a lot of proprietary parts, no real super safe option for fun shooting

Whatever I buy will be my one PCC I have, so any recommendations are appreciated. Also, if you know of any good lowers, please drop a comment too. Always looking for some ideas! Thanks!
