If you know you know

As an Audi Fanboi, had to have this shirt! Probably bought it 15 years ago. Almost nobody gets it.

Was there, so sad. GWS Lipo

Seemed he was flying and taking the corner more aggressively than most … rough to see and hear it live.

Crowd was fantastic when he got up to get in the medical van.

Last pic I got before he went down.

Completed a double metric today!

Really excited that I was able to do this! As an overweight 54yo, I just wanna say: If I can do it, so can you.

I have been riding a lot this year (3300+ miles). My cycling fitness is great (for me). Hoping to continue dropping weight and trying to go longer. Is there a name for a 162.2 mile ride? 🤪

First time camping at Lake Hemet

We had a great time taking our 6yo camping at Lake Hemet this weekend! Caught some fish, had some fun. Just a couple hours for us from south San Diego.

It was the first time for my fiancée and I to camp together. I only had my old backpacking kit. She only had her old stuff too. So, we bought a bunch of new stuff.

We got a “huge” Wawona 8, Amazon exped knockoff and some sleeping bags rated to 20. The tent had a ton of room and was very comfortable for car camping. The big hit tho was the (again Amazon) 12’x12’ gazebo! There was no protection from the sun at our site. We had it over our picnic table. During the day, it was great to flee the sun when not fishing! And, at night, we could put up walls with Velcro that enclosed it. That really helped with wind and cool temps! It got down to 42 the first night we were there. We had multiple comments from campers and staff everyday about it!

On the final day, while fishing, we even got to see a bald eagle!

Great family trip!
