Red shirt cyclist, Gormanston to Balbriggan 9pm 14 Aug

Late 20's/early 30's lives in appartment in Balbriggan, red shirt, black shorts, racing bike. Please do yourself several favours. You don't want Guards informing next of kin. You are lucky that all the drivers you encountered were more focused on the road than you were.

Last night I saw you pass Gormanston heading to Balbriggan. Twilight, no lights, no reflective surfaces, no helmet (though it would do nothing for you) you were basically invisible.

Despite the hard shoulder you took up position in the main road. You were nearly invisible. I first saw a car realise you were there about 4 metres behind you and in the middle of the road and react to you. They avoided an accident you were creating.

Later I then saw you swerve in front of the 101 bus on a dark part of the road. The driver had to swing out more to avoid hitting you.

Then I saw you circle on the outside of the bus as it was stopped at a bus stop in Balbriggan and you stop in front of the driver and do a wtf and shout at him. Before you went into your apartment complex.

I was on the bus. Your actions seemed to shock the driver by his exclamation of surprise when you swerved in front of him. It seemed to take him a few moments to recover. But your wtf brought no reaction.

I didn't want my journey disrupted by your actions. Be mindful. I won't know if you become a statistic, nor care after seeing your actions. I only care about the rest of the people affected by your actions.

Watching own media files. FireTV OS apps

Considering a firetv as a gift for an elder and I have their old dvds and vhs tapes digitalised and named. But I'm wondering if there is a similar app to kodi (that can scrape, name and track the media that was watched) and if it can read off of a hard drive. I don't know the OS and I'm not able to do any programming or sideloading. Cheers

Question. Copilot or claude direct?

Opinion: copilot vs direct claude account

Question. Where do i get the best return on my money, copilot or claude subscriptions?

Small business user with a ms professional subscription. Been using claude Pro and max for text based tasks - document analysis, cross referencing, writing reports with agents in my tone. Used fable and mostly use opus up to now. No programming nor graphics needed.

Water leak monitors.... why? Curiosity about home build quality

Folks. I browse a little bit I see water leak monitoring as a high frequency discussion. Is it really that prevalent where you are, and why?

I'm asking out of curiosity

Where are you?

Why is it a problem for you? (Bad builds, no regulation, etc)

I'm in Ireland, and the newest home I have is 50+ years old, with copper braised piping coming off of ancient High pressure mains to storage tank that gravity feed to the house and direct cold mains water to taps. Temperature swings were (past tense) -5C to 35C winter to summer. Never a leak in any house

Edit. Limestone locally so extremely hard water
