Mijn zwager heeft afgelopen dinsdag avond nadat hij in slaap was gevallen in de woonkamer een vleermuis zien vliegen boven op de plafond. Mijn zus heeft m ook gezien en zijn toen snel naar weggegaan en lichten uitgedaan totdat hij weer zelf wegvloog. ze hebben ook mogelijk een keutel gevonden op een deken die ze gelijk hebben weggegooid.

Nu dagen later en na het lezen van een artikel waar een 11 jarige jongetje is overleden aan Rabies, hebben ze uit angst toch even de huisarts gebeld. Alleen probleem is de huisarts die zegt letterlijk niks te kunnen betekenen voor ze, en dat kans zeer klein is dat de vleermuis rabies draagt. Daarnaast werd er ook iets gezegd van de assistente dat je moest wachten je en op symptomen maar daarna is gezegd dat er zelfs met symptomen ook niks gedaan kan worden? Heel vervelend voor mijn zus en haar man en vind dit erg naar voor ze.

Heeft iemand hier ooit een soortgelijke ervaring gehad? Er is veel anxiety nu hierover

I know theres a group for this but the people there always seem very..meh about it so i thought id better ask my own people who can hopefully give me some genuine advices / answers to my questions 🥹

-Did anyone become a software engineer throughout a self study/short course of max a year?
-Would you say you recommend even getting into it especially with AI and all or would it be a waste of time?
-Would you say software engineering has a lot of opportunities to work fully remote?
-do you have to deal with a lot people on a daily base? (As an introvert i would love a job where i just do my own thing with as little ppl as possible involved 🙃)

I come from an economy background that i have hated so much that i am struggling finding jobs in it because i just loathe it so much i don’t last in it :/
So trying to see what my next step could be.

I’m not sure if this question is suitable for this group tho if it’s not or you know a better group to ask this please let me know but this is REALLY bugging us

We have had a nebula projector for a while and today when turning it on it suddenly started with a “erasing O” text on the screen and it proceeded to start but it suddenly became factory settings and so we had to fill in everything manually again from scratch (gmail account, wifi password, image setting etc etc)as we had done when first opening the projector before.

Heres the weird part. When opening up the netlix app to put the log in info, we could see our own Gmail there (ok not weird i guess? since we put the same one in the beginning of restarting the projector BUT another unknown email address we have NEVER heard of nor do we have any idea who this person may be.. (i cant attach a screenshot here?)

Has anyone ever encountered anything similar?
