Thinning the herd and most likely one of these little beauties has to go. I've only really used them as headphone amps, which they both work very well as. Don't really care about the quad aspect of the 4070, it's way too underpowered IMO to even attempt that (plus the weird needed external quad chip thing that I don't have). Don't have wood cases for either, but would probably build one for the one I keep. I have a lot Sansui gear and like the sound generally, and this one is no different. Also have a Marantz 2238b, and yeah, Marantz ain't bad either... Leaning towards letting the Marantz go because of the Marantz tax, but wonder what you fine folks think

I have an audiophile LP at 33rpm that I want to record to reel, 14 minutes or so side 1, 15 or so side 2. So at 15ips it wouldn't fit on one side of an 1800ft reel (right?), so I guess I'd just record 1 side to one side of tape. That said, is it even worth doing a needle drop at 15ips? Finally, I got a few new reels pictured, which do you guys think is the best quality / will last the longest?

bit of a crazy GW $10 auction win (no one else bid, I was prepared to go much higher) - 1956 Spanish release with intact attached booklet and which I think has the better cover over the French one (that one ain't bad either lol) - vinyl is VG on one side and VG+ on the other, bit this is about the jacket of course, and other than a bit of creasing, it's in pretty good shape

I've had this set for about a decade (got it real cheap in LA), never bothered to find out who made them. Anyway, saw a starburst table shared here the other day so thought I'd share

Just picked this set up (5 white Chromecraft chairs and the table) for about $80. Don't see any brand markings on the table so want to check with you folks if you think it's part of the set or the chairs are separate. Very solid table and very white.

Anyone have any opinions on this 16 LP box / performances? (bought for a dollar, so figured, what the heck)
