I am an iOS app user, and I block every single ad that pops on my timeline.

Since they enabled ‘boosted’ tweets the timeline has become a cesspool of useless irrelevant content, and I just can’t keep up with the blocking. (You get a boosted tweet for every other 2-3 tweets)

So now I am forced to use the browser version with ad-blockers instead of the native app, and I just hate it. The interface simply sucks compared to the app.

Anyone has some kind of recommendation or alternative to this?

After the Alfa/mtc broadband packages price reduction, I was expecting other ISPs to compete with the new offers.

I am with Connect, and did not get any price reduction, but they did increase the speed and monthly limit.

I went from 20Mbps/400GB to 25Mbps/450GB starting Aug 1

What did the other ISPs do?

Is this happening in all areas, or is Metn being cursed?

First time this happens since the last fuel crisis. My generator bill is gonna bankrupt me at the end of the month…

A couple of months ago I started transitioning my litter from clay to tofu.

I have 4 cats and 4 large litter boxes, so I started by gradually mixing clay with tofu in a couple of boxes to see how they’d react and which they would use more.

Fast forward to today, I have 2 boxes full tofu, 1 mixed, and 1 full clay. All 4 of them are being used, but the one that is used the most is the 100% clay.

So I am still hesitating with the full transition, do you think that there’s a risk of peeing/pooping outside of the box if I convert the last one?

I recently started 'smartifying' my house and one of the items I have, is a chandelier that takes 5 candle lamps (TUYA Wifi Smart Candle light Led Bulb E14 Dimmable RGBCW 450LM).

I set them all as a group to switch them all on/off together. About a week in, one of the lamps started randomly lighting on its own, and eventually it went in discovery mode.

I added it back and it worked fine for a couple of days, then started doing the same.

So I bought a replacement, and everything went fine....for a week then same thing started happening.

Could a faulty socket cause all of this? (I never had any issue with the non-smart lamps that were used before)

Note that I live in Lebanon, so we get an average of 3-4 power cuts a day, could that also be a factor?

Am having an issue with a company. It’s a cleaning service, and I prepaid 50hrs, yet they keep finding excuses not to send anyone whenever I request.

I asked for my money back, and they simply avoid answering back.

If I go to the police station and file a complaint, would that do anything or bala aazeh?

Stumbled upon a vid of a new startup called Amano labs, with 2 guys having developed a new approach at hearing aid design. (Replicating the middle ear)

According to them, they will sell for 20$. If they prove effective, that would be an amazing breakthrough.
