Best way to train weapon proficiency is to shoot matches.
It’s hard to beat the pressure set of match to see how good you really are. The shot timer and scoreboard don’t lie.
Some shots from yesterday’s regional qualifier.

16.5 MILS and 2.62 second time of flight. 3rd round impact with shots 4 and 5, also impacts, in the air before the 3rd hit.
Calls, texts, emails, even talking to one of their sponsored PRS shooters have gotten me nowhere over the course of months.
Last PRS match I was squadded with a SWAT guy who has a Curtis for his duty rifle that's light striking on him. He's also tried for months to contact them and heard fuck all.
The guys at MPA flat out told me they moved to a CDG action for their production guns because Curtis wouldn't return their calls either.
Don't buy anything from this company, it's flat out not worth it. If you must have a 3 lug action hit up Joel at Terminus. He designed or helped design the original Curtis actions and left to do his own thing. Dude returned my calls and texts when I reached out to see if he could help me fix something.
Seriously, this shit isn’t hard unless you make it hard. Single digit SD with someone else’s brass is better than I thought it would be.
Got 1st place teams at the local NRL match.
Sticker is covering a fouling shot, whoops. Dumped a couple more into the berm before going back to the group.
This is on a 20” barrel, rifle gas tube. The gun runs like a sewing machine. Functionally no recoil and brass makes a nice little pile 3ft away at 4 o’clock.
Sound on for muzzle brake kaboom goodness.
