What happened to popular musicians protesting the government?

Green Day wrote an entire album that went stratospheric protesting George Bush. The Dixie Chicks stood up for their beliefs against the war in Iraq despite the insane blowback. Hell, Bob Dylan didn’t get a fuck about repercussions, he wrote fuck you songs because he knew what was right and what was wrong.

Are artists now just too scared to lose Republican listeners? Have they all gone soft? I am trying to remember any major artists even making a definitive statement but it seems like every artist now just caters to everyone.

So after tearing my heart out with his songs, Petey can also just drop a banger like I Will Be Your Bitch and have me dancing in my car like a lunatic?

The man must be stopped.

Stop complaining about nades and sleeps. Learn to counter. It’s a fundamental concept of Overwatch.

Yes, they’re powerful. Very powerful. But they have long cooldowns, can be directly countered or blocked, and Ana is the slowest player in the game. She’s so easy to attack and kill that if you’re always complaining about her, it feels like a skill issue.

It’s 3 am and I’m 2 days away from starting a break from my abusive wife. I’m scared to say the least.

After 14 years I finally confided to my family and some close friends about the extent (well, about the bottom 50% of the “badness scale”) and they are all desperate for me to get out. I finally pulled my head out of the sand long enough to sign a short term lease at a nearby place. Already agreed to rotation. We will “see how we feel” in 3 months. I’m excited to finally have my own space to breathe and be the dad I finally want to be to my own kids. But im terrified of all the horror stories I’m reading. I know logically that I’ll be happier away from the abusive cycle. But it’s very scary to take this first step.
