Planning our first Caribbean cruise with Celebrity

Me and my wife are in our early 40s. One of our bucket list things is to take a Caribbean cruise, departing from or around Miami and Cozumel as one of ports of call. I don't know if we can make it happen next spring or later, but it is on the to-do list definately.

Since the number of options with different cruise companies is quite numerous, I think we have narrowed it down to Celebrity Cruises. Without kids, we would also prefer to enjoy our vacation in an mostly adults-only environment which I think CC seems to offer.

Looking at the cruise packages, Celebrity seems to offer quite nice bang for the buck, cabin with balcony, reasonable drinks package with WiFi. Possibly even opt for the Aqua class upgrade. Would be cool to get breakfast in your cabin and enjoy it on the balcony. Onboard, we'd probably enjoy some nice food, drinks, jacuzzi/pool areas as well as live music at least.

Am I right in my assessment or do you have other recommendations? Regarding tipping situation, I am kind of leaning for opting out from automatic gratuities and just doing it in person as many seem to do nowadays.

Carolyn Seymour appreciation post

One of my favorite guest actors on the show. She should have appeared more.

It’s a shame that she didn’t get to portray the same Romulan character in both episodes she starred in TNG.

Taxi driver in AVTAK

Got to love these stereotypes in Bond movies. French taxi driver drinking red wine during a lunch(?) break?
