I’m no graphic designer (unfortunately), but I’ve really wanted to give my own take on some of the packaging for SWS albums, from its CD to the booklet to the back cover.

Here’s my reimagining on the CD design for their latest album, An Ending in Itself (might do one of the back cover/booklet later). The tree branch is such an integral part of the album cover artwork, including the alternate ones you’d see in various AEII tour posters, and I really wanted to display it in a close distance and much more detailed, compared to the cover artwork.

I also heavily based this on the original 2010 release of WETSAETH, whose CD design looks like the second pic. Again, further drawing the connection between the two albums together, AND it’s a cool easter egg!

Been wanting to make acapella versions of SWS for a while now (mainly in the style of these videos), and I need some suggestions on what songs should I cover. I’ve been thinking of doing With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear (original ver), Four Corners and Two Sides, and These Things I’ve Done— but I’m open to ideas!! Especially for Madness/HIFTBL/CC/AEII!!

Though preferably, I need songs that would sound REALLY funny if it were made to be an acapella

This got me thinking— if they’re gonna perform Big Gulps live one day (which there’s a good chance of that happening), my ideal scenario is that they do it like this. It gives opportunity for people to experience 2 songs at once, though I know most people probably want to experience Big Gulps in its full glory. Idk, what do you think??

I’m thinking we should start celebrating album anniversaries for now… cuz why not? They’re fun! And man, what an album this was.

Sleeping with Sirens has always been a difficult band to even *get* an idea of how it was formed, and there’s been a lot of conflicting information on how did the events play out. I found this interview on Tumblr with Brian Calzini, and the interviewer mentioned Sleeping with Sirens along the way. Check it out here.

The most surprising part abt this interview is that Brian mentioned an unreleased track named “Coming Home”… which is strange, cuz we associate that phrase with the opening lines for Big Gulps. I’m not even sure if this is even true, but I’ll take his word for it. It sure seems like he wasn’t part of the founding members for SWS, though— which debunks my assumption I had with him all this time.

This is HUGE news. Outside of TikTok obviously putting some spotlight into this song, Big Gulps was actually considered to be one of SWS‘ more popular songs back in the day. They performed it live a few times during acoustic sets, so it’s a shame it never made it to their debut album and remains unreleased… until now

Just stumbled across this on YT, and this is the possibly the funniest thing the band has ever made. ”It’s so bad, it’s good” moment. Granted though, the editing here is clearly unfinished, but even then I still don’t know wtf were they cooking here.

Didn’t expect myself to like Looking Back At Me that much…

The YT release of Looking Back At Me strangely enough features… noises of a train during the last few seconds of the song? I mean… cool detail, but it never felt like it fit the album for me.

The Spotify release doesn’t have this, so it makes me think there’s something wrong with the YT release of the album. I can’t be too sure though. If you have the physical vinyl/CD of the album, I’d like to know if this weird ass sound appeared there or not

There’s actually a lot more photos of Alex while he was in SWS, but there’s always one or two ppl missing in the photos. This is the best I could do for now.

The artist in me is geeking out rn, I love album art redraws!!!! Only albums missing here are Madness, Gossip, and Complete Collapse
