Big Gulps is Getting Re-Recorded?

Big Gulps is Getting Re-Recorded?

This is HUGE news. Outside of TikTok obviously putting some spotlight into this song, Big Gulps was actually considered to be one of SWS‘ more popular songs back in the day. They performed it live a few times during acoustic sets, so it’s a shame it never made it to their debut album and remains unreleased… until now

Not sure if the original heavy version is getting the same treatment though

The Strays — Music Video (scrapped draft)

Just stumbled across this on YT, and this is the possibly the funniest thing the band has ever made. ”It’s so bad, it’s good” moment. Granted though, the editing here is clearly unfinished, but even then I still don’t know wtf were they cooking here.

Not sure where this person got this from, but you can check it out here.

Weird Train Noises in “Looking Back At Me”

The YT release of Looking Back At Me strangely enough features… noises of a train during the last few seconds of the song? I mean… cool detail, but it never felt like it fit the album for me.

The Spotify release doesn’t have this, so it makes me think there’s something wrong with the YT release of the album. I can’t be too sure though. If you have the physical vinyl/CD of the album, I’d like to know if this weird ass sound appeared there or not

SWS at Warped Tour LB Discussion

Did anyone watch the official Warped Tour LB livestream? I only listened to the audio cuz I had other stuffs to work on, and from what I've heard they were awesome.

I did feel like something was wrong, though. They cut off If You Can't Hang, which is WILD by itself already since it's been the band's set closer since forever now, but I also felt like Kellin was not at his best today. Idk, I'd love to hear your thoughts, especially for those who were on site today

Album Match Fight!!! cuz I’m bored

Let’s settle this once and for all. How It Feels to Be Lost or Complete Collapse?

Why these two? Both albums are pretty recent, sounds a lot more similar to each other compared to other albums SWS has put out, have very similar themes— and most important of all, neither are universally more loved compared to the other (outside of streaming numbers, but honestly I don’t think any of us really care abt statistics). I’ve personally seen pushback and slanders for both albums in equal terms.

So, which is it for you? For me, it’s hard to say no to Complete Collapse :)

Rare photographs of all the *SIX* members of SWS, including the touring guitarist Alex Howard

There’s actually a lot more photos of Alex while he was in SWS, but there’s always one or two ppl missing in the photos. This is the best I could do for now.

Thank god for Twitter and Tumblr for these photos

What is Feel about???

I’m currently writing an overview for each SWS album for a video I might or might not make (no promises though), and I’m currently struggling with Feel’s since there’s ABSOLUTELY no serious interviews on the band about this album. No breakdowns on each of the tracks‘ meanings, no talks about the album’s themes, no nothing. Not even a “hey, what was the inspiration for this album and how did the writing process went?”

If there were one, it’s either deleted or completely buried under the sea of every SWS interview since then. If you do find some sort of talk about the album by the band circa 2013, please let me know.

But assuming there isn’t one, I’m gonna need second opinions on what y’all think the album is about. Personally, I think the album is abt regret and standing up for yourself— but it’s kinda hard to say since the songs flip flops between “I need you, please don’t leave me” (Alone, Low, Sorry) and “We’re so fucking awesome!!!” (The Best There Ever Was, Congratulations) with a sprinkle of “Yeah, let’s fuck“ (Deja Vu, These Things I’ve Done)

SWS Announced As Part of The New Member Class of The Grammys’ 2026 Recording Academy

This is not a drill.

“As part of our 2026 Recording Academy new member class, Sleeping With Sirens joins a community that champions music, creativity, and inclusivity, one that they call an incredible honor to be part of. Being acknowledged by their fellow artists is particularly meaningful to the band, and they're looking forward to contributing to the future of music.”

I’m sad. Let’s talk abt sad SWS songs

Like many other bands in the scene, SWS has made a ton of songs with sad and depressing topics (hell, a trilogy of albums was made from these ugly feelings), but I’d like to know what songs in particular really hits you the most emotionally?

For me, it’s Another Day— which fun fact, was supposed to be on Gossip before they ultimately scrapped it and made it its own thing. It’s one of those songs that really doesn’t seem to mean much until you learn the context of why it was written. This song is just so depressing to listen to now, and I’m very bumped that it’s not on any major streaming platforms other than YT rn

SWS Mainstay Setlist Songs

Earlier I was thinking at how much SWS prioritized performing the singles (aka their big hits) from an album over the non-singles (aka the ‘deep cuts’). I decided to put that to the test. Here‘s a list of what I think are the mainstay songs from SWS‘ setlist over the years, from every album.

You can also see here that Let’s Cheers to This is definitely the favorite child out of all of them.

Kellin signing a picture of himself wearing the “I pooped today!” shirt

One of this sub’s most popular posts is someone talking abt this fuckass shirt he wore back in 2012-2013, so I’d like to bring it back here lol

SWS Member Lineup and Its Changes

That one post someone made abt SWS history inspired me to do this, might be handy in the future idk. Do note that I’m using the word “tour” very loosely here lol

In total, SWS has made approximately 8 lineup changes, or 9-10 if you count the ones from when they haven’t started working on the first album

Kellin’s new trick in House of Matches

House of Matches is an immediate standout to me, and I’m so glad it became a single. Imo it beats the other three out of the water, and its music video is a whole dessert on top of an already amazing meal

That being said, I NEED to see Kellin throw an entire fucking mic stand to the air when they perform this song live. I don’t care. You can’t just do this and not expect me to want more

Looks like we ARE finding out what's in the third door on AEII's website.

It's coming out on the same day the album comes out, which means unfortunately I am NOT watching the music video the moment it comes up lol. I really wanna listen to the full album from front to back, so I gotta hold this off until then

New to PTV! Album recommendations?

PTV has been on my radar for a while now, and I’m looking for album recommendations for someone like me who is just dipping their toes into their music

You might say, “just listen to the one you’re interested in the most”— and I did! I listened to the Deluxe ver of TJOL and while I like a few songs here and there, I don’t think the album is for me personally. I probably would’ve appreciated it more if I was a PTV fan prior, I’m not sure. Either way, I’m open to suggestions ^^
