Witches brew

So I’ve seen a couple posts dating awhile back for a dupe drink or close to it of the Alani Witches Brew. Has any of the baristas gotten to experiment with something similar? Look it may be overhyped but probably the best most quenching Alani I’ve had. So crisp. lol

Side note working there would be fun I can’t imagine all the different drinks you could experiment with. Thanks!!

Husband seems to invalidate every concern I have. For example:

Hi friends, I’m looking for some outside perspective because my husband 30M and I 30f see this situation very differently.
My 1-year-old had been running a fever since Wednesday night. By Friday his symptoms seemed to be getting worse, so I took him to his pediatrician. His doctor heard some chest congestion, prescribed albuterol with a nebulizer, said it appeared to be a cold, and recommended continuing Tylenol.
I followed those instructions, but Saturday evening his breathing became really fast and I could visibly see his chest moving with each breath. His fever also wasn’t responding to Tylenol the way it normally does. With nighttime approaching, I became concerned he could get worse, so I made an urgent care appointment.
On the way there, my husband told me I was being emotional and wasn’t thinking about our son because I was taking him out so late at night.
When we arrived at urgent care, they immediately sent us to the ER because his heart rate was around 178–185. At the ER, they put him on monitors because his heart rate continued fluctuating. His oxygen was okay, but they continued monitoring him and did an X-ray to make sure nothing more serious was going on.
After several hours, we found out he tested positive for rhinovirus and also had a pretty significant ear infection. We went home with antibiotics and instructions to continue Tylenol, fluids, rest, suctioning his nose, etc.
The next morning, my husband still stood firm that I acted out of emotion, “led with my feelings,” and unnecessarily kept our son at the ER late at night because I “didn’t give it to God.”
I’m struggling with that perspective. From my standpoint as his mother, I saw my child breathing abnormally fast, visibly working harder to breathe, running a fever that wasn’t improving, and then learned his heart rate was high enough that urgent care immediately sent us to the ER.
I would much rather have my child evaluated and be told everything is okay than stay home because it’s late and potentially miss something serious. I also don’t understand how seeking medical care and trusting God have to be mutually exclusive. I can pray and trust God while still taking my child to a doctor when something doesn’t look right.
What’s especially frustrating is that because my husband felt I handled the situation incorrectly, he said he needed time to himself yesterday and again today to go to the gym for a few hours to “unwind” and calm his mind.
Am I genuinely missing something here? Was taking our child in an emotional overreaction, or was my concern reasonable given the symptoms and the fact that urgent care immediately sent us to the ER?

Venting - I don’t want to do this.

I don’t need judgment or “just leave” I just need a hug really. I’m 9 weeks. This has got to be the most ridiculous rollercoaster ride I’ve ever been on. I fluctuate between being happy about this pregnancy and absolutely terrified and feeling trapped. Please please understand I love my children. I don’t regret them and I don’t regret this one. But man life has been playing a huge part in why I don’t think I can do this.

I have a 15 month old. An unsupportive emotionally unavailable husband and 2 older boys (1 Step son). My last pregnancy was awful. Very emotionally unstable and quite frankly emotionally abusive at some points. I forgave. And honestly I’m not in la la land like I was 15 months ago. Where I was dying for it to work out, I didn’t want anything else but this family together blah blah. Recently, the things he said to me really pushed me to a numb point I don’t think I’m coming back from.

I was on the pill. Maybe missed 1 or 2 at the very least. We were headed toward figuring out our separate ways and I was actually coming to terms I’m good with that. Finally. This has been a very unhealthy toxic ungodly soul tie experience from the beginning. I open my eyes, get the clarity I need and IM PREGNANT.

Blank promises were made “oh I’ll be better this time around” “I’ll be here to support you”. Lasted 1 week. I’m struggling to be happy about this. I feel awful. I don’t want this baby to feel anything I’m feeling. And trust when I say all the negative emotions are flowing like a river. Why did this have to happen. Why now? Why couldn’t I just leave. Now it feels like this will be an even more difficult situation with 3 and not only that 2 under 2?! Fml. I already know the gender. I don’t think I can do this. I really want to run away from everything. (Just an intrusive thought I’m not running away) but damn.

These negative emotions are pushing me into isolation and just no motivation for anything. I’m scared. I have no support. I can’t get away because this man told me to quit my job and he’d take care of everything. Fuck up #1 right there. I feel so stupid. I feel like he has me right where he wants me, pregnant and can’t do anything about it. Don’t even get me started on boundaries being crossed with the baby momma of my SS. It’s just a mess. I can’t focus on peace or keeping this pregnancy healthy.

I hate to compare but man. Some of you ladies are so blessed with even just a peaceful supportive partner that is there for you during this time. It’s an awful feeling. I don’t know what to do to shift my focus on this pregnancy and not being stressed or anxious.
