Using Salzburg as a general home base or adding in a stay at a town?

We are planning a trip in Austria for 2 weeks and will spend a week in Vienna at the end. This was suggested by ChatGPT, so I don’t totally trust it. We are a couple and will likely rent a car in Salzburg after arriving by train from Munich. To visit the towns around Salzburg, do people use it as a base and do day trips as outlined in the picture, or have you preferred staying in at least one of the towns along with Salzburg? We are a couple with no kids. Thanks!

Anyone coasting?

I sense someone on my team is - never seen by the reps, and even the speakers haven’t seen him. I don’t know how he is perceived by the managers, but our team overall thinks he is a nice guy. I‘m not jealous of him, but I”m curious how he gets away with it. I‘m getting burned out, having logged consecutive 60 hour work weeks, including conferences during the weekend. I’m thinking of “quiet coasting”, being seen and present, but focusing on just doing a good job locally seeing my HCPs and not volunteering for massive projects or being a conference lead. Right now I’m involved in managing one of the year’s two biggest conferences with literally thousands of posters to comb through…

I’m in Seoul - should I buy here?

I’m looking at the DJI Osmo walking cameras. Is there any price discount if I buy one here, compared to the USA, if I get a VAT refund?

I definitely plan on going to the DJI flagship store to check out the products.

I was also thinking about buying a drone but I see there are import bans on newer models after Dec 22, 2025.
