Kit Connor as Cyclops~
So the official cast for the X-Men reboot has finally been announced!
I put together this quick portrait using elements from my past designs to visualize him for the role. Do you think it suits him?
Hey guys, here's a past commission, a Paladin of Lathander w/ Lion Armor. Commissions are open, dm for info~
Nice detail consistency in the costume design of HOTD and GOT (also in HOTD Season 1)
I don't know if this has been pointed out before, but there's nice cool detail I noticed in HotD, even in season 1, which is that they kept the details of the Baratheon armor retroactively consistent. As if the Baratheon armor in GoT were based all the way from the Baratheons in HotD. This was also in Season 1 in the finale episode where Lucerys went to Storm's End; they had the same helms, pauldrons, and gorgets.
*I realize Lyonel was in between these time periods, and his armor is different, but that can just probably be because of his own sense of uniqueness, or their production simply didn't apply this concept
But what's more interesting is
That they only do this with the Baratheons. Every other house's armors and clothing evolved between HotD and GoT. I think it's because the Baratheons are supposed to be very "ancestral"; they have a certain stubbornness that sort of reflects in the way they hold on to such traditions as the design of their armor. [This is something I noted because I'm a concept artist, and I made concept art of a young Robert Baratheon for fun way back in 2019, and applied the same concepts]
Another thing that's interesting is that [w/ spoiler]
.
.
.
If this is something you've noticed, it's actually kind of a spoiler for this episode because we see the fake Baratheons wearing different pauldrons and gorgets. I didn't necessarily think they were fake, but I wondered why they were different, and apparently it was because they weren't really Baratheons {presumably they killed some Baratheons and stole their surcoats, or simply were wearing fake surcoats]

[Art][Comm] Character Reference Sheet I did for Half-Elven Sunite Bard commission~
[Approved by Mods]
Hi all, this is a character reference sheet I did for Frilros Dawnstar, a Half-Elven Bard who follows Sune, the goddess of beauty and passion. [Commissioned by Daniel Butterworth]
As a Half-Elf, he was an outcast to both Elves and Humans. One day, his only childhood friend went missing, so he frequented the local city taverns in search for him, playing music to earn the favor of the local patrons. One day he was discovered by a retired royal Bard who took him under his wing, and now he uses his gifts to find his old friend!
Frilros was described to wear a slate-grey floral studded leather armor and an orange scarf, and plays the Lute. See if you can find references to Sune in his equipment!
I have 2 commission slots left for July, pls send a dm or leave a comment if interested~

Can Artists post "Open for Commission" posts somewhere in the DMG Website? If not, where is a good place to do that?
Hi I'm a TTRPG Artist looking to do more commissions, and of course, the DMs' Guild seems like a good place to book clientele. But of course, I only want to do that if it's acceptable, and if so, I'm not sure if there's a specific section to do that properly.
Alex and Auriella are twins borne of a Human Mother and a dragon of Argonessen in Human form. They were hatched and raised in Thelanis as humans and left upon adulthood in search of their father. Their Draconic lineage shows as dragon scale freckles on their faces
Alex is a Swashbuckler and Battle Master, and has Brass dragon scale freckles, and Auriella is a Gloom Stalker, and has Red dragon scale freckles.

Hey all! I just wanted to share one of my latest and most favorite commissions, Alexander ir'Roosevelt, commissioned by Joshua Bruder.
Alex is one half of the ir'Roosevelt twins. He and his sister Auriella are actually Half-Dragons; a product of their mother, a human noblewoman, and their father, a Dragon in Human form. They were raised by Eladrin in the Fey Realm for their safety. Upon early adulthood, they left the Fey Realm to search for their father. Alex is the more stoic of the twins; a skilled and practical duelist and battle master identified by the brass dragon scales on his face.
What’s fun about this character for me is that the client initially had a different vision in mind for the character, describing him as wearing “blue and white leather armor with a rose motif,” but I had the idea to design a rose-printed gambeson for him (inspired by modern-day fencing garb), and he loved it. My specialty is definitely giving that extra “oomf” to clients’ characters grounded by my vast knowledge of historical clothing and equipment. Alex is definitely one of my new favorite commissions as the client allowed me to design this beautiful Gambeson.
I am open for commissions! You can view more at my artstation, and you can DM me for prices, or check out my discounted prices on VGen (I’m new there, and I have an opening discount!).
*I can do commissions outside of VGen too~
Thank you!
