Maybe this is how kindness spreads

Someone was kind to me once when I was struggling with something small.

They helped me without making me feel stupid for not knowing what to do. They didn't make a big deal out of it either. They just helped and moved on.

I don't even remember exactly what they said anymore, but I remember how it made me feel.

And now, whenever I see someone else struggling with the same thing, I find myself doing the same for them.

Maybe that's one of the nicest things about kindness.

You don't always know where it goes after you give it. Sometimes it just gets passed on.

Homeschool prepared mefor academics, not the outside world.

One thing I dislike about homeschooling is how small your world can become.

Your “school” is basically your home.

Your classmates are often the same few people you already know.

Your routine rarely forces you into new places, new groups, or unfamiliar situations.

And then one day you're expected to function in the outside world like you've been practicing for it all along.

I think that's one of the hardest things to recover from.

Did anyone else feel this?

Sometimes I wonder what made someone become the way they are....

Sometimes I wonder how a few small incidents can change a person completely.

Someone who was once bold and confident, who could speak their mind without thinking twice, can grow up to be someone who can't even express their point in front of people.

And maybe there was a reason.

Maybe something happened, maybe people made them feel stupid for speaking, or maybe it was just years of little things that slowly changed them.

We usually see someone's nature, but we rarely know what shaped it.

Maybe behind some personalities, there's a story we'll never know.

Some of the Most Important People in Our Lives Don’t Know They Were

Sometimes people change your life without ever knowing they did.

I think about some of my teachers like that. They probably remember me as just another student in their class, but I remember the little things they said, the way they believed in me, or simply the way they made me feel seen at a time when I needed it.

They went on with their lives, taught hundreds of other students, and probably never thought twice about it.

But somewhere, a student carried their words with her for years.

It’s strange and beautiful how someone can become an important part of your story without ever knowing they were in it that deeply.

Not liking someone doesn't mean everyone else has to dislike them too

You can have a genuinely bad experience with someone and still understand that other people might have a completely different experience with them.

The things we once dreamed about can become the things we no longer care about.

Sometimes we don’t realize we ’ve changed until we look back at what we once wanted.

What’s something younger you would be surprised you no longer care about?

Sometimes being missed isn’t about missing you at all

Sometimes people don’t actually miss you. They miss having access to you.
