The first four queens (1-4) were caught about 2 months ago and have been producing and growing their eggs well, with the exception of the one queen that still has her wings. That queen is laying a lot of eggs, but I’m still not sure if they’re duds or not. You can see they’re spread out and don’t really have that typical off-white color. Still observing.

The other 5 queens (5-9) were caught yesterday during a nuptial flight. (There were queens flying literally everywhere!) These 5 were properly set up only today, so I’m hoping to get some good and fast progress as it continues to warm up here in the Midwest.
