Is it raining??

Pueblo West here, I’m hearing thunder and seeing lightning which I thought seemed promising since the fires are close. But that was because I assumed there was also rain, but I dont see any reports. Is it just lightning/thunder??

Question about 4 way stop

I’m planning to get my license soon and I understand the majority of traffic rules, including 4 way stops. However I had a scenario come up in my head and I cannot seem to think of who would have the right away.

In the scenario that a car to the left of you, and a car across from you arrive at the same time, who has the right away? Would it just depend on who is turning and who is going straight?

Insanely worried about mass rejections right now

Yesterday I posted about how I received a warning on an audio assessment. I and many other people were confused what we were even doing wrong. They had a pretty similar study so I did about 40 submissions for those and didn't receive any warnings. For the one I received a warning on I completed about 18, and I have now tried to open it again and the warning popped up again and said I will now have to be reviewed before being able to do anymore. Out of curiosity, I looked up this researcher and I've seen people face mass rejections with them. I myself have never had any issues, and I even had some of the studies I did yesterday from them approved. But now I'm terrified... I doubt the study I did with 40 submissions will be rejected since I didn't receive any warnings but it would definitely get my account banned if the other ones get rejected. I'm just not sure what to do. I reached out to the researcher multiple times and haven't heard a response. I made such great money yesterday, money that I really need, and it is going to suck whether I have to return them all out of fear, or risk getting my account banned. Anyone else stressing about this?

People interpret things differently - that doesn't warrant a rejection

I am currently doing a study where I received a warning saying my previous submissions were unsatisfactory and to reread the instructions. These instructions are mostly clear, but each person is still probably going to have slightly different opinions on the quality of each of these audio clips. If there are right and wrong answers - why conduct the study in the first place? Isn't the point for humans to listen and give their own opinions based on the instructions on how high or low the quality is? I've done this researcher's studies in the past with no problem but this warning makes no sense to me. I'm wondering if I should even continue even though they pay well. I am not just blindly answering, I'm answering using my best judgment. Just confused and I hold this opinion on other studies with similar premises as well.

Getting new ID - what happens in the meantime?

Hey everyone, Im waiting for my license to come in the mail and my old ID is now invalid. What should I expect to happen if I cannot do a verification check if prompted? If I wait until I get my license in the mail, will my account be suspended?

Anybody getting screened out like crazy today?

Did a survey for about 5 minutes, wasn't concerned about getting screened out at all and was pretty confident I qualified. Then got screened out and got 15 cents. Proceeded to get screened out on the next study too. Very annoying.

Instacart+ Membership: Don't remember email or phone number

They keep attempting to charge my account but I've already tried all the emails I could think of. I also used a temp phone number. Dumb idea, I understand. Is the only solution to block the merchant through my bank?

Study had an error at end when terminating session

I messaged the researcher but I am afraid they will never respond. Do I log as NOCODE or return the study? I got a pretty good performance bonus too.

What is the point of allotted time/time outs?

Never personally understood this. Why do they care? You're not allowed to be too quick, but not allowed to take too much time either. Why does it matter? I could see maybe if someone was just taking up study space just to sit around and do nothing, but is there seriously a reason to make it to where it's possible to be timed out when you're actively working? Just seems unfair to me. I am asking a genuine question.

Threatening to not compensate if not all studies are completed

Study rules are that multiple studies will roll out over the next few days. If you miss one you get rejected for all of them. Is that even allowed? (will not share the name or researcher, keeping this anonymous. But this seems highly against Prolific TOS?)

Pressed Submit with a Second Left, Anything I can do?

Finished a survey with a second left and got timed out. Pressed submit as the timer was finishing. Is the only thing to do to message the researcher? Anyone had this happen before?

Idea: Monthly Earnings Chart

Connect Cloud has a feature where you can see your earnings for each month. I feel like Prolific should do the same, it would be nice to keep an eye on monthly earnings without having to download your CSV file and get an incorrect total from an AI or have to calculate it yourself. I always thought it was weird you couldn't see your earnings from select dates when you're able to see how many submissions you have from selected dates. Your earnings from that timespan should show up too.

Could not finish study - unable to log into tester account

Saw another post on this and just wanted to share another post on it to bring more awareness on it. Ridiculous that I spent 20 minutes on this and have no idea how I am meant to receive compensation. I have returned the study and messaged the researcher.

Researcher Asking Me to Return for Failed Attention Check

I did a study recently that was around 25 min. A lot of it was writing portions which I put my best effort in and shared my experience related to the study. I was just messaged to return the study due to a failed attention check. I try my very best but we're human and sometimes things can get misread. The rest of the study clearly shows I paid close attention. I am going to try to fight the rejection/return request because that doesn't seem fair to me.

I took a screener through instagram for a research study paying up to $150. Very targeted to my demographics. I got a text and email to set up an interview with someone. I don’t mind doing it, I’m just wondering what the catch is. I do paid studies, all the time, but through third party sites, never directly with researchers. I’m not even sure if I can share the name due to confidentiality reasons. What are the proper measures I can take for myself to make sure this isn’t a scam? They want me to sign a document and I’ve read all of it, the terms seem simple enough I’m just nervous. This money could really help.

I did months of research to find a surgeon to go with in the Denver area. I receive care through Denver Health but found a surgeon through Kaiser that takes Medicaid. All of this to finally get a referral put in to be told I need Kaiser assigned Medicaid, which would be a complete hassle for me and would severely limit my healthcare options. I’m now having to start all over again and could *really* use some help with finding a surgeon that takes Medicaid, and one where I won’t have to jump through hoops just to be able to get a referral. Preferably through Denver Health but as long as I can stick with my current Medicaid plan I don’t mind looking elsewhere. Thank you
