Wanting to pick up another 56” to bolt to an open box 42” I grabbed last month. Want to add storage to the garage and build a work top for it. Is this the best deal we’ll get for a little while or do I hold off for an upcoming X% off deal?
New engine build is coming along slowly but surely. Waiting on the big port head to return from the machine shop, so in the meantime I disassembled, inspected, prepped, and paint matched my AWD trans in LB9A candy white.
Swapped in a forged crank. New main bearings, rod bearings, main bolts, rod bolts, and piston rings. Everything torqued to spec. Also installed a new oil pump and water pump. New o-rings on the oil pickup tube and tbr oil crossover tube.
Will be a few more weeks until I can do anything else to the engine. Gotta wait for the machine shop to finish the head.
