Hi! I’m a musician with 10+ years of experience, I’ve been playing bass for 4. I’ve been wanting to get back into playing and playing out to make some extra money and was wondering if anyone knew of any bands/duos for short and/or long term gigs in the area?

I’m also experienced in singing but haven’t had many singing gigs before.

Have any MFOS students gotten their MFOS advance yet for Fall 2026? I haven’t and usually it comes sooner, I don’t have any holds and have 13 credit hours signed up for.

Hello!

I just had a quick question about the UF Health insurance coverage. This upcoming 26-27 year I’m going to opt-in to the health insurance provided by the school. I know it’s about $1k a semester, would this decrease my overall refund I get for housing and food? Or is it included in the tuition and other fees, so it doesn’t affect refunds? Would I just get $1k less a semester?

I’m currently refunded for housing and food since I’m off campus and don’t have a meal plan.
