TSITP/ Jeremiah being a baby

i was just rewatching some clips yesterday and Jere was such a BRAT here 😭😭😭😭 I mean he literally made them feel guilty for being together even though HE KNEW ALL ALONG HOW DEEPLY THEY LOVED EACH OTHER and how much they wanted to be together and him throwing a whole fit on thanksgiving was honestly so fucking unnecessary and stupid and childish and like I understand he had his own feelings to deal with and his mom was sick but he was being way too immature and he managed to make belly and Conrad feel terrible for being happy. His behaviour here was genuinely so frustrating because he knew exactly how much his brother loved belly and how they were so happy together and he still chose to act like this was some sort of a personal betrayal end of the world situation

SHITTY ROOMMATE EXPERIENCE IN INDIA

omg guys so this is soooo frustrating. I am living with a bihari roommate in my hostel for almost 2 years now because for some reason I couldn’t get a single room and you know what I know it’s wrong to generalise an entire community because every person is different and like that’s really not what I’m trying to do but I AM GENUINELY SO DONE UGH.
Our parents are paying a hell lot of money for our course but genuinely no amount of money can make someone seem sophisticated if they have absolutely no basic manners or consideration for the people around them. She talks sooooo so loudly in the room all the time and constantly uses abusive language, and throws around the kind of “maa behen wali gaaliyaan” that completely caught me off guard. And ykw shocked me even more was hearing her speak like that in front of her parents as if it was perfectly normal maybe I’m being a little too judgmental maybe that’s something they’re comfortable with, but it honestly made me really uncomfortable 😭😭😭😭 I mean I curse too but not even close to the stuff she says.
What bothers me even more is how unbelievably inconsiderate she is like whenever I’m sick or clearly feeling she doesn’t even ask if I’m okay like not even once. meanwhile whenever she’s unwell I check up on her ask if she needs anything offer her meds /food and I just genuinely want to know if she’s doing alright and like even something as basic as sleeping, I always switch the lights off or try to keep the room quiet if she’s asleep even if it means putting my own work on hold but when the situation is reversed, she has absolutely no regard for me :(

And tbh I completely understand that sharing a double room means both people have to adjust and im not expecting luxury or complete silence but there is a huge difference between compromising and having absolutely no courtesy like come on bro manners and empathy and consideration shouldn’t be too much to expect from someone you’re LITERALLY living with UGH
AND THE **BIGGESSSSTTT MISTAKE** I made was opening up to her when I first came to college. I was new i wanted to make friends. I shared things about myself and like not even deeply personal things but yk enough to be friendly. AND GUESS WHAT she somehow manages to find faults with EVERYTHING I say or do atp it feels like she criticises things just for the sake of it like she has something bad to say about every single person in our batch and most people don’t like her and some think of me as a bad person too because I’m friends with her or whatever and its so exhausting to live with her and like over time ive realised I can’t be myself around her.
I feel so stuck I have to live with someone who drains me everyday
