Agurin mainly going for Stormraider Surge instead of DH or Elecrocute
I've noticed lately Agurin goes Stormraider Surge, Alacrity/Cutdown secondary with Lich Bane first item almost every game. Has anyone tried it?

How is it possible, in 2026, with all the advancements in AI that we have at our disposal, that Milestones can't seem to give us an AI that behaves like a somewhat normal rider.
I'm not asking for perfection but ffs they ride like you're not there, they just keep their line and if you are in the way it's just fuck you i guess.
Also how hard is it to have the AI to get out the way when they're on a sighting lap and i'm doing a timed lap?? Marquez i know you are faster than me i'm riding a freaking Pramac just get the fuck out the way for 10 seconds for the love of God!!!
Rant over sorry
BIKERGaming just posted a video on YT that proves that rider ratings don't mean anything, what really matters is the rider "personality" hidden in the database.
He tested this theory with Marc Marquez by first putting all his ratings to 1 which didn't change anything in his performance with Marc always finishing in the top3 in a span of 5 races. He then put his ratings back to normal and set the "personality" to Last and that actually made Marc coming always 22nd or 21st.
Honestly i don't really care about that, what kinda sucks is that this experiment actually proved something else, which is that the bike doesn't really matter at all. Cause with the change in personality Marc's best result was second to last with Factory Ducati which is really weird, even if the rider is set to be a bad rider having the best bike should compensate at least a bit.
I know there are more pressing matters about this game but i found this experiment fascinating.
I'm a 2 GPs away from finishing season 1 in Moto3 and literally ALL teams have their bikes max out in the little graphic, what even is the point of bike development then?
A little bit of context:
I'm running a sort of homebrew sequel for Lost Mine of Phandalver, i took the Talos Cultists Half Orcs from Dragon of Icespire Peak and i made them the BBEG and wrote a homebrew plot around it. Basically these half orcs are in command of a huge Orc army and we are at a point in the story where they're about to storm Phandalin where my party has 3 days to set up siege defences.
Some key elements:
- i created a mechanic that allows the players to take 3 actions a day in preparation, i gave them a list of things they can do with different DC rolls depending on how big of a bonus that action will give them. They can skip rest to make 1 extra daily action but then the next day all DCs will be increased.
- In this campaign some years have passed since LMOP, the Wave Echo Cave has been re opened and now Phandalin went from a small settlement to a small city, walls have been rebuilt and there's a proper City Guard with the Lords Alliance beign a huge political faction, they basically run the city and provide the soldiers for the city guard.
- the orc army will have access to several Ogres as a frontline and they will also have Gorthok, the huge Thunder Boar of Talos
Of course i won't roll for every single soldier on the field, i was thinking of rolling for squads. Maybe create a sort of mechanic of "resistance points" of each step of siege. For example the first line of defences, the barricades outside city walls, will have 5 resistance points and depending on rolls they lose those point, if they go to 0 we go to Thisthe city walls and so on.
What's your experience with large scale battle and sieges?
We're playing 5e (2014 manual).
I caved in and bought the game, i haven't played MotoGP25 or Ride6 (which to my understanding is a great game) so keep that in mind, but right off the bat i'd say that there's been some over reactions about this game.
Overall i think the game is way easier than 24 which is not necessarily a bad thing, I tested the game at Mugello, pro physics, all aids off, and i'm already lapping almost a second faster than 24. The bike is way more grounded both in braking and throttling, you can really hammer the trigger without much consequence, in 24 you had to be very gentle to avoid wheelie/stoppie.
The new "pilot weight system" honeslty feels kinda smooth and i like it very much, riding feels very smooth, you have to trail brake or you're gonna crash but, at least for me, wasn't a problem cause i was already doing it a lot in 24. Reading on here i was worried that i was gonna crash a whole lot more with the front brake changes but honestly i didn't feel that much difference. The braking is less powerful that is true and you need to brake slightly earlier that you're used to but it didn't feel bad.
The issues i found are the following (i'm only talking about riding experience not bugs):
- the rear slips way too much, even with traction control on 5, TC feels like it barely does anything
- ebs is way too powerful, even set to 1 is very much present
- sense of speed is kinda shitty, especially on corner exits it feels like you're in slow motion
- controller vibrates way too much to the point it kinda loses it's purpose
Overall tho i think the game has potential, if Milestones makes good updates (big if i know) the game can be really fun.
Is it worth the 60€ price right now? No, the game needs polishing.
Could it be worth it if they patch it right? Yes, i think it could.
I've seen only people comparing it to 25, but i'm still playing 24 which to my understanding by reading in here was way better than 25.
I've read that 26 is a step forward from 25 but how is it compared to 24?
The spider queen is hella fun to play, i just finished to level a new account and i wanted to main Elise on there, so i have many questions for you spider people:
1- This question has probably been asked thousands of times, Stormsurge vs Lich Bane? From the little pool of games i've played Stormsurge feels generally better for one shotting and early power spike, Lich Bane feels better for farming and it's the only build where you get some Ability Haste. I guess the general rule of thumb would be "when unsure go Stormsurge" but are there any scenario where you want to go Lich Bane?
2- Runes: Here i have no doubt that DH feels better, i have other questions tho. Why is Cheap Shot the most played keystone, isn't Sudden Impact better and more consistent? On the second page is Triumph always better than Legend Haste? Cause with the Stormsurge build you have 0 AH. Double Adaptive seems to have a better winrate, i guess Attack Speed makes your first clear faster but Double Adaptive makes you stronger in early fights, which one is best?
3- Playstyle: Here i'm totally lost, i can't really powerfarm like i do with Briar cause the clear is way slower, Briar after a couple components clears super fast and i can kinda consistently avg 8 cs/min and abuse tempo. With Elise it feels like i kinda need to get kills early and get the ball going otherwise i'm useless. Do i need to play more agressive and force ganks? How do you play her in the early game?
4- Lastly i can't seem to find any Elise Mains to watch on youtube or twitch, are there any content creator to learn from?
