advice on OLD app

i put a profile on Bumble about 3 weeks ago, and i’ve only gotten one message in my chat. i’m using it free, so even though it says i have 150+ likes and a shifting number next to “Really into you,” it says that next to its Pay for Premium link, so i’m not considering those real, and it’s not letting me access those profiles in any way.

BUT i was under the impression i could use this app for free and still make some matches and have access to chats with them. am i doing something wrong?

(this post doesn’t seem to allow me to attach pics, but i’ll try to reply a screencap of my photos there if anyone wants to give me pointers! i don’t have a ton of pics of myself on my camera roll, but i’m not a troll lol)

my first Get Out There

I did it. I found a local social event, and took myself out there alone! It was a themed event, and we were asked to change tables to sit with new groups about every 30 minutes. I had been afraid I’d get stuck saying awkward things, not quite being able to match the vibe, but it was easy and fun!
I was even offered a phone number and two instagrams …except it was by 20- and 30-somethings with completely platonic, friendly, fun intentions. 😂

I’m counting it as a win, but I will be keeping in mind: I really need to focus on my flirting game. 🤭

Wish me luck!

is this fixable?

the pockets on these new jeans don’t lie flat, and the lining bunches from sloppy cutting/sewing.

goal: i’d just like to get the lining not to show. this is going to be a hand-sewn fix bc i don’t have a machine. also, the fabric is thinner and much softer than standard denim and i already tested the needle and thread going through. it’ll be no problem..

pics: you can see that the lining puffs up out of the pocket when the jeans are laid flat on a surface, and also when worn. also that the jeans are not too small, so that’s not what’s causing the pocket a to gape.

thank you for any help!

would like to fix this..

this is sooo poorly made. 🙃 if i’d paid more than $17 i might be angry, but oh well. so, when the jeans lay flat, the pockets just gape and the messy, bunched up lining shows. and the inside is just crazy looking. as you can imagine, it doesn’t look any better when worn.
what would be a good way to tack the lining down more neatly? it doesn’t have to be pro looking. i’d just like for it not to look sloppy from the outside. i have no idea what i’m doing. ☺️
thanks for any guidance!
