Help please!

I am a 3rd-year B.Sc. Agriculture student. My degree will be completed in one year, and then I can attempt the MPSC / UPSC exams. I have a few questions regarding this:

Related to Coaching in Pune:

Which coaching institute and staff do you think are better, well-qualified, and can guide better (based on lectures attended, current enrollment, or what you have heard)?

Options: Chanakya Mandal Pariwar or The Unique Academy (you can can also suggest others).

Other Doubts

  • Is it really near to impossible to crack this exam in the very first attempt?

  • Does our educational background (college tier, degree, graduation CGPA) matter in the final selection for this exam?

  • If I choose the English language, do I have to write the entire paper in polish English for the Mains exam? And what about interview? Do I have to give the interview in English also?

  • In which language do the chances of selection look comparatively higher for the interview English or Hindi?

  • Does corruption/favoritism work in the UPSC/MPSC exam? Meaning, do people get posts through political connections? (If you have heard anything about this, please share. If it's true, it is a big demotivating factor).

  • Based on your analysis or conversations with friends and classmates, what do you think is the main reason why students fail to clear the exam in their first attempt?

Delhi Police busts ISI terror module; 4 arrested, arms seized

Four Terrorists Arrested

Delhi Police’s Special Cell arrested four men—Shubdeep Singh, Gurjant Singh, Sajan Singh, and Gaganpreet—in a major counter-terrorism operation foiling an alleged plot to attack the national capital.

The suspects, hailing from Punjab and Delhi, were apprehended under the direction of Pakistan-based ISI handler Shahzad Bhatti. During raids in Amritsar and Delhi, police seized two foreign-made pistols, nine live cartridges, and five mobile phones containing incriminating communications with handlers.

Investigations revealed the network employed sophisticated tactics to evade detection:

Drone Deliveries: Arms and narcotics were smuggled across the Punjab border via drone drops.

Surveillance: Gaganpreet was tasked with conducting reconnaissance of police stations and religious places in Delhi.

Communication: The group used foreign phone numbers and social media to maintain contact with Pakistani handlers while avoiding local intelligence networks.

ISI Funding Agent Arrested For Financing Espionage Network

Rafiq Chand Sheikh (41) S/O Chand Miyan Sheikh, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, was arrested by Rajasthan CID for acting as an ISI funding agent.

He remained in contact with a Pakistani ISI handler for around 4 years, having been recruited through social media.

He channelled ISI funds to espionage operatives for the past 4 years.

He financed Jhabra Ram (Jaisalmer) and Sumit Kumar (MTS, Dibrugarh Air Force Station, Assam), who were earlier arrested in January for passing Indian Army-related confidential information to ISI handlers.

On the handler's instructions, Rafiq opened multiple bank accounts in his own and other people's names to route ISI funds, operating as a key financial conduit for the espionage network.
