i pretended to take credit for a joke theory he made and i said omg your like that guy from midsommar

he was confused and said there was no such subplot in the movie, this was a few weeks ago and today i checked and what happened was he saw the theatrical cut and i saw the directors lol

edit: if you dont know the directors cut has chris and josh get into some conflict where he wants to do a similar thesis to him and josh thinks its immoral if he trades notes with him

i knew watching the film that the harga couldnt have been ancient (attestupa myth, runes, selective embrace of "modern" technology), so i thought maybe their founding couldve been dated to modern times and the second i look into it i see theres a very well known (and convincing) fan theory of it having fascist origins, which is cool to think about, uniting the horror of the film with real horrors

im a music student whose main instruments the piano and my friend is offering to sell his violin for really cheap ($50). im interested in learning over the summer and wanna hear some youtubers i should watch or other resources to learn basic info and whatever.

suggestions for pieces for beginners would also be appreciated!
