New growth!

Hi all! I posted my wonderful fig here a few weeks ago looking for advice on why my leaves were turning brown. Weirdly, since then, I had 2 more buds form that have turned in to the most beautiful new growths (5 leaves in total!). Although I did notice today I lost 2 older leaves from the bottom of the plant. I’m wondering if that is normal or the start of something bad?
Also I’ve noticed my trunks are quite long and thin. I’ve got a little clip holding them together, but if I take it off then the trunks bow sidewards. Is there a way to ensure thick healthy stems?

Many thanks 🥰🥰

New to the world of FLF

I bought this beautiful FLF from a local grower about 3 months ago. Whilst initially all the leaves were a lush green and glossy, I’ve noticed they’ve started to develop brown patches. My research says it’s either dehydrated, sunburnt or root rot… but I just can’t work out which one.

I’ve left it in its original pot and put a decorative pot around it. It sits in the corner of a bright room and gets daily sun. I water it about once a week with approx 1 litre of water.

Any advice on how to make this beauty of a plant happy again / help me diagnose the problem would be most appreciated 🍃

Am I being silly?

Hi all!

My partner and I are coming to visit the beautiful New Zealand South Island for our honeymoon in April next year! We are aiming to spend 2-3 weeks exploring. I've been a long time lurker and have been trying to work out the best travel itinerary that maximises our time but also allows us to relax as well!

So far, I'm thinking we would fly in to Christchurch (1-2 nights)

Drive down to Lake Tekapo (2 nights)

Drive to Mount Cook (2 nights)

Drive to Wanaka (2 nights)

Wanaka then to Tea Anau as a base to journey to Milford Sound (2 nights)

Finish in Queenstown (4 nights)

We really love the idea of finishing in Queenstown given there's a multitude of both relaxing and adventurous things to do (plus we're very keen on visiting a few ~ nice ~ restaurants to celebrate our honeymoon!) We'd then fly back to Sydney from Queenstown.

When I put it on google maps though, I note that we're essentially driving past/through Queenstown to get to Te Anau. This does seem counter intuitive to me ? I wonder if there is a better option.

I'd love to get thoughts and advice (feedback much encouraged haha!!)

Thank you all :)

Before and after (or at least, so far)

Coming to life!

Hi all, just wanted to share my progress and updates since we started renovating our house. Currently in the process of transforming our living room!

We’ve got a new entertainment unit (much bigger) on the way, and our next project to tackle is
\- PLANTS!!
\- Art!
\- Ambient lighting (not just relying on downlights lol)
Our ultimate goal is to add life, colour, nature, and texture back in to the room!

I also have plans to try and get some other decor of altering height, so that things aren’t all waist level or below!

Let me know your thoughts and if you have any specific suggestions :)

P.s. the after photo is taken at night hence why the colours look so dark haha

Feeling overwhelmed!

So my fiancé and I are moving in to our first house and we’ve been given a few pieces of furniture to start (so grateful). Except one of those pieces is a very bright red leather lounge. I have absolutely no idea how to style my room around this piece and I don’t really have the option of giving it back! Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
