I wish Epic would hurry up and release Rebloomed Night Rose - she was the first new skin from this season that I was really excited about when she was leaked at the very start of the season, plenty of new skins have came and went already while she still hasn’t graced us with her presence. I know a lot of people prefer her original skin, and I love that one as well, but I just LOVE the colours with this one and I’m impatiently waiting for her to finally come to the shop.

I’m also very impatiently waiting for us to get the new High Stakes Summer set - I don’t normally like summer versions of skins but these are actually awesome and I can’t wait for them to land in the shop.

Well guys, I fear that it is finally time that I acquire a second shelf lol we are officially at capacity (I know there’s a gap beside the third volume of Elfen Lied, that’s a spot waiting for the fourth volume to come in, and I’ll probably have to move a couple volumes of Chainsaw Man to fit it lol)

To celebrate (or mourn for my wallet) I also wanted to show close ups of some of my little figures that I keep on my shelf - I put the little gifts that my kiddo’s give me on there, and any little anime blind bag figures that I get. I do wish the shelf was a bit deeper so that I could put my anime Funko Pop’s on there, but c’est la vie.

I’m interested to see what everybody’s favourite Crew skins are, and what your least favourite Crew skins are! They’ve been cooking with gas the past few months, and I hope they continue with it considering the fact that we’re getting less Vbucks now, so hopefully they keep putting out great skins!

Also, just to preface that just because I dislike the skins I put doesn’t mean that you can’t like them! We all have our own personal preference at the end of the day 🫡

Another slower month for me, and the next months will probably be even slower haha I have to give props to someone (can’t remember who) that had Elfen Lied in their collection which is what made me pick it up. I had to special order the final volume because they are hard to come by in Canada, I actually ordered the fourth volume first and then picked up the other three during Prime Day when they were on sale for 25% off, and then I also grabbed two more volumes of Chainsaw Man when those were on sale - almost caught up now, only two more English volumes released that I need to grab and then the three that haven’t been translated and released yet, and then I’ll be done ☺️

I started reading Elfen Lied as soon as I got it in and have been really enjoying it so far, it sucks that it’s a Dark Horse print though because they seem to constantly have supply issues (probably why I had such a hard time ordering the fourth volume, I was able to order it through a local bookstore luckily)

I’m curious what everybody’s favourite manga cover is - for me it’s volume 42. I loved the relationship between Naruto and Jiraiya, and loved seeing them training together. I have an original volume 42 from the first batch of English prints that Viz did and even though I’m planning on getting the omnibus’ to complete the series, I’ll definitely keep and treasure this volume ☺️

One annoying thing about this round of prints was that they were doing these promotional ninja bookmarks that come in the book and you tear them out - I really wish that they would have made the bookmark Naruto and Jiraiya, instead of Gaara 😂 no hate to my boy Gaara because I love him too, it just would have been nice if they had thought to match the bookmarks to the cover art somehow.

Last time I shared Charm and Venus (one of my absolute favourite WLW couple creators) and today I want to share Amanda and Shaye! They have a super cute and interesting story because Shaye is trans - they were married for 17 years when Shaye came out to Amanda and said that she wouldn’t transition if it meant losing her, but instead Amanda buckled down and said she wasn’t going anywhere 😭 they have three beautiful kids together, and they used to be Mormon’s, and still live in a heavily Mormon area - they’re honestly super iconic as a couple AND they’re renewing their vows this year for their 20th anniversary 🧡
