Kia KEV-4 / KEV-IV

"Kia KEV-4 (also referred to as KEV-IV) shown in 1995 was a concept car that presented a hybrid system using gasoline, electricity, and solar energy as power sources.

The KEV-4 was developed as a four-seater, all-wheel-drive city car for urban commuting. Furthermore, aiming for environmental preservation and energy conservation for the future, it utilized new materials, such as applying 100% fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) to the body and incorporating magnesium components. This resulted in weight reduction, achieving a curb weight of 1,478 kg, which is relatively light for an electric vehicle. Additionally, the application of a regenerative braking system achieved approximately 15% fuel savings compared to previous models. With dimensions of 4,300 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width, and 1,550 mm in height, it was positioned between the Accent and the Avante at the time.

This vehicle uses an electric powertrain as its primary power source. By combining a 50kW (336V) AC induction electric motor with a high-density closed-loop lead-acid battery, it achieved a range of 188 km on a single charge and a top speed of 180 km/h. In addition, it was equipped with an 800cc PA engine developed independently by Kia, and could automatically determine whether to drive using the internal combustion engine by monitoring the remaining charge of the battery.

It also featured a function that aided in cabin air circulation by driving a ventilation fan via roof-mounted solar cells. These solar cells were also used to power the air conditioner, heater, and navigation system."

Am I overreacting ?

What is this ?

It adds to other "interesting" experiences I've had over the years with some people: packing by bending high-frequency cables, dropping a high-frequency horn antenna and, despite being bent and having dirt on it, denying it, another R&S, this time a FSL/ZVL, getting rained on, dropping a drink into a box with N and SMA connectors ...

I lived with the impression that Amazon reviews are total garbage and we should totally ignore positive reviews. Amazon itself confirmed this.

I bought some garbage from Haul. It was advertised as 30 cm x 30 cm. I paid £1. At reception it measured 20 cm x 20 cm. It didn't make sense to waste my time and ask the money back for false advertisement, however I left a review to warn those wanting to buy the same product:

Fake dimensions
Avoid, avoid, avoid. Fake reviews and dimensions. The true size is 20cm x 20 cm.

One day later I received an email: We could not post your review of Premium Microfiber Clean. We could not post your review because it does not meet our community guidelines.

I spent way more money on Aliexpress, and their review system is miles ahead Amazon's; their reviews are not deleted if they are negative, they don't mix the sellers and products. Both Amazon and ebay are simple garbage in this regard.

Why should I buy from Amazon when I could buy straight from China ?
