Question about WireView Pro 2

I got my wired version this week and it’s been great. Have had relatively even current balance and it’s nice to have the peace of mind knowing that the connector on the card is safe. My question is, can the connector on the WireView Pro 2 that the PSU cable plugs into still melt even if the current is being displayed as even? I’m assuming it’s only measuring the current leaving it, and isn’t measuring what the connector the PSU cable goes into is doing, unless I’m wrong.

If someone could explain how it works that would be great. I would much rather the connector on the WireView melt than my card obviously, but it’s more curiousity getting the best of me rather than actual paranoia.

Where do I mount my WireView Pro 2?

I ordered one of them for my 5090 FE, and I saw in the video debauer made that you can mount it to the card but I don’t want to do that. Only problem is I’m not sure where else I can mount it. Maybe to my GPU support bracket? Any suggestions of what I should do/what you did if you have one would be appreciated.

Looking for someone to “double check” my work

I don’t know very much about RAM timings, but I lowered some of them and want to know if I’m kinda going in the right direction and if there’s anything I’ve missed that could be further tightened. Im using a 64GB kit of Trident Z5 Neo on an AsRock X670E ProRS with a 9800X3D and my timings are as follows:

tCL - 28
tRCDRD - 36
tRCDWR - 36
tRP - 36
tRAS - 60

6000MT/s

I also lowered my tRFC1 and 2 timings because I saw someone say to do that, and they’re set to 740 for tRFC1 and 2 is at 480.

I honestly don’t know much about RAM tuning at all which is why I’m making this post.

For anyone curious about what I’ve done to the rest of my system, I have my 9800X3D running PBO with +200 all core and -30 on the curve optimizer, and I have a 5090 FE running 2827MHz at 0.895mV

Help needed - Is my 9800X3D dead?

Let me try and cram as much information in here as possible without making this too long.

I’ve been using a 9800X3D on my AsRock X670E ProRS at stock since it launched up until about a week ago.

I had continuously updated my bios because I was aware of the issues, and I’m currently on 4.10.

A week ago I enabled PBO, added +200 all core and did a -30 on the curve optimizer, this has had no problems until about an hour ago.

Also worth noting that I had tightened the timings on my RAM 2 days ago, but I heavily stressed tested it, no errors, and I reset my CMOS so this rules out the RAM being the issue.

Now I’ll explain what happened an hour ago:

I was watching a livestream on twitch while screensharing it for a friend on discord when my PC suddenly crashed. It totally froze so I had to hold the power button to shut it off, rebooted it and reset up the stream and it worked fine for about another minute. It then crashed again and when I rebooted it, I noticed that I hear the sound of Windows booting up to my password screen, but I get no display from my GPU or CPU on board graphics. My NZXT Kraken uses the CPU onboard graphics to draw the temp monitoring screen I had set up, and on the password screen of Windows, the Kraken display usually does turn to the temp monitoring screen I have it set to without logging in after a few seconds, but now it won’t. My RAM RGB still turns white, although there was a few times it would be stuck on rainbow so it’s kinda inconsistent. I’ve ruled out the GPU being a problem, it’s fine, so I’m kinda looking at the CPU and suspect it might’ve died. Anyone smarter than me have an idea?
