I feel like every other post I see here now is some kind of “crawl”, rather than discussion of NaNoWriMo or writing challenges/writing as a whole; is there maybe a chance that these can be consolidated into a weekly thread or something?
I have two appearance change scrolls for two-handed swords, but there’s a slight issue… I mostly play as an elf, and aside from not having used a sword since I first started playing when I was younger, I don’t even know what two-handed swords elves can use. Are there any nowadays? The only one I could find a note of was the Cursed Killer Sword.
There’s always the answer that I expect, which is that I’m “completely out of luck”, but I figured that I would ask. Thank you!!
Has anyone else had this issue? For the past two weeks (three?) (since the new farming update), if I try to open new instance of Firefox with Mabinogi open, it won’t load up my bookmarks, and even has me signed out of… Everything.
It tells me that Firefox’s files are in use by another application, and that some security software can cause this.
I specify Mabinogi because if I close everything else (truly close it, not running at all anymore), including Mabinogi, it works fine. If I open Mabinogi, leaving everything else closed, it suddenly just… Does this again. I assume it would have to do with Nexon security, but.
Edit: For context, pics of my screen (not screenshots because I don’t want to close Mabinogi right now to get signed back into everything in browser—I use discord in browser LOL)
It treats my history, bookmarks, cache/cookies like it’s all been cleared out. Again, this only happens if Mabinogi is open, and if I close Mabinogi and restart firefox, it’s all there.
If I open firefox on my laptop or iPad, everything is there. It is only impacting the device that Mabinogi is open on.
I was wondering about this; I have a few characters on my account from when I played as a teenager, and I've completed Blaanid's memoir on my main character when I came back to the game in 2023, but I heard that new players get a few free character creation cards.
I was specifically wondering if that was something that didn't apply to older players/people with multiple characters on their account? It doesn't bother me if I don't get the free ones, but I might consider buying a name change (I used up the free ones that I had from the server merges a couple of years ago 💀)
Edit: For context, my account is from 2008, and I had the free “aligned with . . .” Cards. My friend who started recently had multiple free character cards. I did not/do not.
So. Here where we are (KY, USA), tenants take care of all maintenance and repairs on trailers, from electrical to water to flooring/ceiling/walls, we are responsible. We can of course hire someone, but obviously, if we have the know-how to safely do it, why not fix it ourselves?
That being said: we pay our water bill. We are the ones that shut it off due to an emergency with the pipe using our own water key. We have been turning it on/off in order to test repairs ourselves, and the water meter has never been sealed off from us before.
Come to find out this evening that it's been sealed off (it hasn't been sealed off in two years; it's just done with a bolt that can be removed with a wrench). I could only find information on if there was a formal disconnect that people couldn't turn water back on, and if they did it themselves, they had to notify the city--which makes me wonder, are we not actually allowed to turn water on/off ourselves?
Hello! I know the character cards are well-documented on the mayoi wiki, but I was wondering if there was a readable version of the stories that had been archived anywhere (I‘m sure there are YouTube videos, but I’m looking for an easy-to-navigate version, even if it’s a playlist of videos).
I ask because someone on a different social media mentioned it when I posted about the EoS of the app.
I think it's part of the new tutorial section they dropped awhile back, but I'm on a questline that's had me choose an Arcana (despite already having one, but, I'm not complaining). It wanted me to enter AAHM and clear it,
I've cleared it multiple times since then, including with the Dark Diviner Arcana set as my Talent Title+Active Talent, and it's just not completing that part? I've tried relogging, changing channels, I'm definitely in the right place--but I can't figure out why it isn't clearing. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
What sites do you all recommend for downloading subtitles for series in French? Currently, my favorite place to go is opensubtitles, but the thing is, they're missing a few series that I'm really into and watching or wanting to watch in French (even if those series offer French audio).
I'm not looking for streaming site recommendations, or places to watch series themselves, I'm just looking for places to get subtitles. Thank you!!!
So, I got a used Nook Color, and I noticed that there are a few display options for the books; I like night mode, but often feel like my eyes do better with warmer tones when I don't have a migraine. The sepia, mocha, and butter versions, though, cause a lot of eyestrain for me, personally.
Now, the answer to that is, of course: "Don't use sepia, mocha, and butter."
However, I want to ask: Is there a way to get more book/text themes for books for the Nook Color?
By my understanding, rooting it would essentially just turn it into a standard android tablet, but I have no real desire to do that since I really just want/need this thing for books since my kindle is ironically on the fritz (irrelevant to the recent Amazon discontinuation of older models, my battery's been acting up for awhile and my charger went missing</3), but if I could get more visual styles for it, I might be a bit more open to it.
