Perfumes that smell like my aestethic 🐇🌷✨

I have a collection with big variety but lately I’ve been leaning into smelling more like what my home looks like and how I dress. What perfumes do you guys think fit this vibe? Cozy, musky, lived in, fresh 📖🤍🤎🌷

My dream come true Lucy is finally home with us 🤍

She’s a mitted lilac lynx, currently 3 months old. She has been nothing short of perfect. She likes to fall asleep next to me and be held for a few minutes while we show her the world from our height.

Is she going to stay this sweet? I really hope so. I have to go back to work tomorrow and my heart is breaking 😭

Yearning for the old Lush & a perfume that smells like it

I’ve been a fan of Lush since around 2012. At first I yearned for all of their products from a distance as a teenager with no money, but as soon as I got my first adult job, my obsession exploded and I tried playing catch up, finally getting all the products I used to swoon over. The smell of the old Lush store is ingrained in my brain and catalogued under “desperately need to find a perfume that smells like this.” Unfortunately my love for Lush started withering around 2022, and we have only gotten more distant since then.

Recently I had a “treat myself” day and decided to go to a place where I know I can spend $30 and walk away with one good treat.

So I walk in and…

No Charity Pot. No Oaty Creamy Dreamy. R&B is now renamed and shoved in a corner. The front of the store is cluttered with flashy, citrusy, fruity collab items. Their love of Mother Earth and the products reflecting that has disappeared. How is it possible that it’s hard for me to pick up a product from Lush as a treat for myself? I used to walk in there and be able to fill up my basket. The soul has been stripped from this place.

I have nothing else to say about that other than it sucks.

But going back to that little compartment in my brain that yearns for a perfume embodying the vibe of old Lush (god I would do so much for a perfume that smells like Charity Pot, and yes I know Grassroots exists but it’s too expensive and hard to find) I recently purchased Dispelled from the indie perfume house D.Grayi and this perfume perfectly embodies the Lush spa vibe. It’s somewhere between Oaty Creamy Dreamy and Twilight. The notes are bergamot, St. John’s wort, lavender, herbal tea, magnolia bark, and vanilla. Truly recommend.

Anyway, I will always have a soft spot for Lush in my heart, but I miss the quirky company they used to be. Consumerism has killed its personality.

EDIT: lol guys this isn’t an ad. You can look up my old posts in this subreddit. I collect niche perfumes as a hobby (thanks to Lush’s gorilla perfumes) and that’s how I found this perfume. I’ve been looking for a niche equivalent of that cozy spa lush vibe and thought I would share with others.

Hi everyone! I am back, looking for my white whale. Unfortunately nothing that was mentioned in the comments in the last post was what I was looking for. This time I am back with a visual and a list of what the perfume I’m looking for is *not*.

Things that aren’t what I’m looking for:
- Diptyque Eau Duelle
- Diptyque Philosykos
- Dries Van Notten Chamomile Satin
- Clue Dandelion Butter
- Lush American Cream/Twilight
- Masque Milano Lost Alice

What notes I have narrowed down my wonder scent to:
- Oats
- Chamomile (maybe?)
