Second week on compounded tirzepatide, the first time in my life with restless leg syndrome.

I know that this isn't a new topic, and I've read some stuff about insomnia and RLS with tirzepatide, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any new tricks that I can try.

For context: I am not taking tirzepatide for weight loss, it's really just a Hail Mary for my myalgic encephalomyelitis. I'm taking iron, B12, and D3 supplements every day. I don't consume any caffeine. I typically have zero problem falling asleep at night and I have NEVER had an issue with restless legs before.

But now I can barely sleep at all and the leg thing is killing me.

I'm starting magnesium and I'm going to contact my doctor tomorrow for advice, but it's Sunday and I REALLY want to be able to sleep tonight. Benadryl doesn't make me drowsy and melatonin stopped working once I started the tirzepatide.

Anyone have any suggestions for getting some sleep tonight (other than magnesium)? It's been two nights of ~2 hours of sleep and I'm dying. Do I just have to wait this out until my body adjusts? ;-;

I've been severely ill for most of my life and it's gotten a lot worse in the past few years, to the point where I'm mostly bedbound. Any insights on health in my chart? [Astro-Seek]

[Virche Evermore] Whoever wrote Lucas's routes, who hurt you???

I finished the main game and am about halfway done with the fandisk, and just ????? WHY

My sweet boy just doesn't ever get to be happy, huh???

Even Scien (who is my solid #2, no Scien slander here, BUT STILL) gets a super sappy ending. If what I read is correct, Yves gets an actually happy ending in the fandisk, too. Mathis gets the second worst treatment but there's still plenty of cuteness and sappiness for him.

Just not Lucas?? Fuck him in particular, I guess?? And add on the extra stuff with him as a kid to make it EXTRA sad??????

Ugh. I'm mad. He deserved better.

My Grey is getting the silent treatment bigtime.

Because he basically bit through my pinky while I was trying to get a mint out of my nightstand. He thinks that the nightstand is his and I genuinely have zero idea how to fix his territorialness over it.

I should probably get stitches but. I don't have the energy to wait for hours somewhere just to get two or three stitches in my pinky. I've taken care of stitch-worthy wounds on my own before so I'm positive it'll be fine. but good god does it fucking hurt

I have NO idea how to read charts, so just looking for a general overview? Anything that stands out to anyone, no specific expectations. [Astro-Seek]

Do I look like Limited Edition 32-BMI G.I. Jane? Yeah. Yeah, I do.

But my head feels so much lighter and the pain of having my super heavy hair tied up all the time is gone. The idea of keeping my scalp clean isn't nearly as daunting. Plus I'm gonna save so much money on shampoo and conditioner lmao

It's weird. I don't feel super great about how it looks, but I feel amazing about how it feels. Although it also feels like another little piece of my identity down the drain; but if I ever improve in the future, I can always grow it back.

Anyway. Sorry for rambling. If anyone's considering doing the same, I highly recommend it for your comfort and peace of mind.

Now I gotta crochet myself some beanies when I have a smidge of energy.
