Upload Speeds after Spectrum

i’ve had fiber through cox since i purchased my home in 2019 at 1gb down/1gb up. i’ve never had issues with it and have always gotten the theoretical maximum of around 930-940mbps consistently.

after the spectrum, my upload speeds have dipped into the ~750mbps range. has anyone seen anything similar?

i’m in north las vegas.

2024 Jetta SEL sudden acceleration issues

Hey all,

Before I schedule a service appointment, I wanted to know if anyone has ever dealt with weird acceleration issues.

From a complete stop, I press the accelerator like normal to get the car up to about 1.5k RPM to get off the line, as I gradually depress the accelerator to go faster, the RPMs go from about 1.5k to 2.5k very quickly, and it’s almost like it stuttered.

I’ve tried this on both Normal and Eco driving modes and the Eco mode seems to be even worse at registering the acceleration.

No CEL or other lights on. 13k miles. Both 10k and 20k service has been performed.

Anyone lose a dog in North Vegas?

Walking around the streets of my neighborhood and came up to my driveway to say hello.

He did not want to stick around and seemed spooked with all of the fireworks. Bolted off heading east off of Cheyenne and Decatur.

New water softener sounds like something is wrong

Just installed a new water softener, Aquasure 72,000 grain, and running a regen for the first time. During the rapid rinse and backwash, it’s making a strange noise and shaking the drain line.

I replaced it myself and was replacing a smaller unit of the same type, Aquasure 48,000 grain.

Appreciate any help in figuring out if this is normal or what I should check.
