What's the best vegan poutine in Canada?

So a recent poutine post on r/shittyveganfoodporn made me think about vegan poutine, lol.

I know it would be impossible to objectively say which vegan poutine is best because none of us have tried all the vegan poutines that exist in Canada.

BUT I was wondering if there is a place near you that sells poutine you really love?

I'm in Toronto, Canada. And the only place I know that makes poutine is Fresh. It's pretty good, but they don't use curds at all - just a cheese sauce and a gravy with fries. I know that there's better (and more authentic) out there.

What are some nice sit down restaurants on the subway line on the east end of toronto?

So I have a date with a cute girl :) <3 she lives in Markham. I live in Etobicoke. We want to meet in the middle. That would be around the east end of Toronto, right? We're both taking public transit.

I am vegan, so we need a restaurant with vegan options. South Asian would be preferable, or anything with spicy food (like Thai, etc) but we're willing to settle for something else if it has vegan options on the subway line. She has to take a bus to get to the subway, and we don't want her to have to take another bus on top of that, that's why I'm saying on the subway line if possible. Also would be nice if there was a park or green space nearby for us to walk around. But that's not a necessity, just a nice to have.

Thank you Reddit ☺️

I just realized today that Odd Burger's two Toronto locations have closed. I remember Odd Burger back when it was Globally Local and it was definitely tastier then. But still - their pizzas were good for a fast cheap option, as were their milk shakes and onion rings. I stopped liking their burgers though because they were too dry. I still loved the idea of a vegan fast food chain though.

Does anyone know what's going on?
